 The Importance of Discipline and Correction

"Give instruction to a wise man, and he will be still wiser; teach a righteous man, and he will increase in learning."- Proverbs 9: 9


We are able to know the importance of having discernment with the help of the Spirit of Truth so that we know the difference between helpful information and false and negative information. We are able to realize that we can persevere developing virtues in the worship of GOD Almighty instead of having vices in the practice of idol worship and sin. We are able to realize the importance of correction and instruction in obeying the commandments of Moses so that we do not practice sin and idol worship. We learn that we do not need to have resentment and anger because instead we have gratitude and gladness of heart knowing that we have eternal meaning and purpose in the worship of GOD Almighty, King Jesus Christ, and the Spirit of Truth. We do not need to practice sin, idol worship, or have negative emotions without reason.

We realize the importance of removing resentments and anger. We are able to know this so that we do not go to false and negative information that has the intention to cause resentment, anger, hate, envy, and coveting for no reason. We are able to practice gratitude each day realizing the favor, blessings, and goodness that we have in the worship of GOD Almighty. We are able to understand the manner that we can keep learning in the wisdom of GOD Almighty that prevents us from attempting to compare ourselves based on false "comparisons". Instead, we are able to worship GOD Almighty and keep growing in virtues describing wisdom and zeal. This is so that we are able to guard ourselves from the negative emotions that false philosophies of hate and lust attempt to cause in individuals.

Practicing Discipline and Accepting Correction

"The fear of the LORD is the beginning of wisdom, and the knowledge of the Righteous One is insight."- Proverbs 9: 10

We learn that there are false philosophies that want to cause negative emotions describing nihilism, atheism, socialism, and communism. We learn that if the intention of the negative and false information is to cause hate and lust, then we need to remove that type of information. We need to make sure that we have positive sources of information that are able to guard our heart and mind from the practice of sin and lust. This speaks about the importance of correction and discipline. We are able to understand the manner that while correction and discipline may be difficult at first, we are able to understand the manner that correction and discipline helps us obtain wisdom and help us persevere practicing righteousness. This prevents the practice of folly that attempts to lead to the practice of sin and vices that causes difficulties, stagnation, and destruction of the unrepentant wicked. We are able to know that we are able to acknowledge the importance of disciplining ourselves in the manner that we pray and go to Scripture everyday so that we are able to persevere in the path of eternal salvation.

The Spirit of Truth helps us have discipline and know the importance of going to encouraging Scripture verses each day. When we go to Scripture being one of the first activities that we practice each day along with prayer, we are able to have wisdom to distinguish the things that help us from the things that are not trying to help us. This is so that we have discipline to remain industrious throughout the day instead of being tempted to be lazy and slothful. We know that we do not need to be lazy and instead are reminded of the importance of having discipline and correction. I am able to say that I have realized the importance of being active and industrious throughout the day by making sure that the priority is the worship of GOD Almighty and obeying the commandments of Moses with sincerity of heart Exodus 20: 1-17. This is going to prevent vices from developing that attempt to lead to laziness, lust, and envy. If we are industrious throughout the day, there is no time to be lazy. There is no time to compare ourselves and have any envy.

Persevering With Gratitude and Motivation

We also know the importance of having dominion over the emotions and lust so that we do not practice sin and idol worship. We know that having discipline is going to prevent us from practicing sin and helps us know that we can persevere developing virtues instead. While we worship GOD Almighty with our work, time, and resources, we are able to acknowledge the manner that we are growing in virtues that can not be enumerated, quantified, or measured because they can keep increasing describing the wisdom that we are able to obtain, the zeal that we are able to practice by being righteous, the humility that prevents us from practicing arrogance and idol worship, and fidelity that reminds us that only GOD Almighty helps us persevere with encouragement, virtues, and motivation. We learn that there are virtues that are developed when we choose to obey the commandments of Moses with sincerity of heart, accept and confess King Jesus Christ Eternal LORD and Savior, and repent of sin with sincerity of heart. The virtues are able to prevent the development of vices because we begin to realize that the practice of righteousness helps us while the practice of sin causes difficulties and stagnation.

We are able to distinguish the truth from the temporary lies that are not trying to help us. We learn that the eternal truth of obeying the commandments and accepting and confessing King Jesus Christ Eternal LORD and Savior are going to help us be industrious and worship GOD Almighty above everything instead of practicing sin and idol worship. We learn that we do not need to practice sin because it is not trying to help us improve, grow, or learn. We are able to distinguish the truth from the temporary lies so that we are helped and guarded from the practice of sin, folly, idol worship, negative emotions describing anger, hate, envy, and coveting, and sexual immorality describing fornication, adultery, and homosexuality that wants to lead to the practice of vices. We are able to persevere in the path of eternal salvation with the help of the Spirit of Truth being able to obey the commandments of Moses with sincerity of heart.
