King Jesus Christ Instructs Humility
King Jesus Christ Instructs Humility
Positive Christianity Series Episode #107
King Jesus Christ gives us wisdom and autonomy so that we can persevere in the worship of GOD Almighty. We learn in the Sacred Scriptures about the importance of humility so that we do not allow arrogance and envy to lead to idol worship and sin. We learn that when we begin to grow in virtues including wisdom, zeal, responsibility, and courage, evil tries to tempt into believing that the increase of virtues is because of our own self. We learn that we can not believe the temporary lies of evil that want to lead to arrogance so that individuals stray from the worship of GOD Almighty. This describes the importance of humility so that we increase our zeal and fidelity to GOD Almighty instead of having arrogance and envy. We learn that practicing humility helps us increase in wisdom and faith because we know that we can not practice idol worship.
"At that time the disciples came to Jesus, saying, 'Who is the greatest in the kingdom of heaven?' And calling to him a child, he put him in the midst of them and said, 'Truly, I say to you, unless you turn and become like children, you will never enter the kingdom of heaven.'"- Matthew 18: 1-3
King Jesus Christ tells us that we must be renewed like children in the sense that we have repentance of sin with sincerity of heart and have purity, innocence, and be able to accept correction and reproof from Scripture. This wisdom allows us to know that we must have humility that prevents arrogance and negative emotions. We learn that when we mature in age, evil attempts to cause negative emotions such as bitterness, resentment, jadedness, false "comparisons", envy, hate, anger, and coveting. We are supposed to remove all those negative emotions and instead have humility and gratitude knowing that we do not need negative emotions, hate, anger, envy, and coveting. This understanding allows us to persevere with wisdom, zeal, humility, and serenity that allows us to mature in our Christianity.
We do not need the things that do not help us. This describes arrogance, malice, deceitfulness, envy, coveting, hate, anger, bitterness, jadedness, resentments, and folly that is seen when there are negative emotions, the practice of sin, idol worship, and vices. This wisdom describes that we need to remove those negative emotions and instead have serenity and calmness in the worship of GOD Almighty. We are able to have gratitude to GOD Almighty. We are able to accept correction and reproof instead of practicing folly and envy. We learn that this describes the importance of humility so that we do not allow arrogance and deceit to lead to envy and coveting. We learn that evil wants individuals to have negative emotions so that there is unneeded quarreling, conflict, and strife. Instead, we can have harmony, serenity, calmness, and peace knowing that there is no need for negative emotions. Humility allows us to develop wisdom so that there is no arrogance, resentments, and no envy.
This is consistent with King Jesus Christ's description of the importance of having true righteousness that should exceed the righteousness of the Pharisees and scribes. This is because the Pharisees and scribes did not practice true righteousness and actually practiced lawlessness while "appearing" to practice righteousness. We learn that the Pharisees practiced idol worship, envy, and coveted. While they "appeared" to be righteous, they were actually self-righteous and hypocritical because they wanted people to see that they were "righteous" while disobeying GOD Almighty, not following the instruction of Moses on Mount Sinai, and failing to recognize King Jesus Christ Messiah. We learn that this was because the Pharisees had allowed arrogance and envy to corrupt them instead of having obedience to GOD Almighty with humility and fidelity.
"For I tell you, unless your righteousness exceeds that of the scribes and Pharisees, you will never enter the kingdom of heaven."- Matthew 5: 20
