Removing Anger and Negative Emotions

 Removing Anger and Negative Emotions

Positive Christianity Series Episode #119

There is no need to practice anger and negative emotions when we decide to obey the commandments of Moses and have gratitude, serenity, peace, and calmness in the worship of GOD Almighty. When we obey the commandments of Moses with sincerity of heart, we are able to persevere with serenity because there is favor and blessings. We know that the wicked do not have peace and serenity because they decide to practice sin, idol worship, envy, hate, anger, resentments, bitterness, temporary lies, deception, jadedness, coveting, fornication, adultery, homosexuality, and have vices. We learn from the Sacred Scriptures that righteous individuals who worship GOD Almighty can live in harmony and stability while idolaters and adulterers are in constant strife, conflict, and unnecessary quarreling.

False philosophies want individuals to hate and have anger without reason. This describes how the wicked do not obey the commandments and have negative emotions including envy and coveting that lead to strife and unneeded quarreling. We see this in negative examples of Scripture of individuals who quarreled without cause and practice envy seen in Korah's rebellion that had rebelled against the righteous authority of GOD Almighty given to Moses. We learn that Korah's rebellion did not persist being destroyed by GOD Almighty with marvellous signs and wonders when the earth opened up and swallowed up the wicked, fire fell from the skies and destroyed the remaining wicked, and the plague devastated the wicked that were left-over.

We learn that Saul was constantly envying David without reason. We know that Saul was constantly plotting against David, yet GOD Almighty delivered David from all his tribulations. We learn that David is able to live in peace and harmony even in the land of the Philistines where they had songs of David destroying ten thousand Philistines. This describes that GOD Almighty guards the righteous so that they can persevere. David does not foment quarreling nor conflict and instead unifies and helps Israel. Similar to Saul, Nabal was an individual who was envious of David and did not want to help David even when he had abundance of resources. We learn that Nabal either was afraid of Saul or envious of David. We learn that GOD Almighty saves David while destroying Nabal. This describes the manner that GOD Almighty guards the righteous and also is able to destroy the wicked when GOD Almighty decides. Sometimes the judgment of GOD Almighty against the wicked is instantaneous like the destruction of Nabal and sometimes it takes time like it happens to Saul.

"So if you are offering your gift at the altar and there remember that your brother has something against you, leave your gift there before the altar and go. First be reconciled to your brother, and then come and offer your gift."- Matthew 5: 23-24

This wisdom describes that Christianity and the Sacred Scriptures describe the need to live at peace with harmony instead of quarreling and causing strife. If there is gratitude and serenity, there is no need for quarreling, envying, hating, and coveting. When we obey the commandments of Moses, we are choosing to have gratitude to GOD Almighty for prospering us and giving us blessings while we also respect and have genuine empathy for humanity while protecting ourselves from false prophets. This describes the importance of individuals having dominion over the emotions and removing any negative emotions so that we do not practice sin based on resentments, anger, hate, bitterness, and envy.

"Come to terms quickly with your accuser while you are going with him to court, lest your accuser hand you over to the judge, and the judge to the guard, and you be put in prison. Truly, I say to you, you will never get out until you have paid the last penny."- Matthew 5: 25-26

"A man who is kind benefits himself, but a cruel man hurts himself."- Proverbs 11: 17
