Persevering With Encouragement Amidst Envy, Obstacles, and Persecution
Positive Christianity Series Episode #133
"If GOD is for us, who can be against us."- Romans 8: 31
We learn that even with envy, persecution, and obstacles, we are able to persevere in the worship of GOD Almighty above everything. We know that we do not have to worry or be anxious for anything, knowing that we can trust in the Creator of everything instead of believing the temporary lies of envy. We learn that GOD Almighty uses everything for good and not for evil. We learn that similar to the Old Testament, the righteous are able to persevere with favor and blessings without having negative emotions, envy, anger, resentments, strife, bitterness, unneeded conflict, practicing sin, idol worship, temporary lies, sexual immorality describing lust, fornication, adultery, and homosexuality that leads to stagnation, vices, woes, and destruction for the unrepentant wicked. We learn that righteous individuals persevered similar to Lot who was saved from the persecution of the wicked in Sodom and Gomorrah. We learn that Noah is a remnant that perseveres when the evildoers are drowned in the historic flood. We know that GOD Almighty guards his righteous individuals.
We learn that GOD Almighty wants us to go to the Sacred Scriptures so that we can be encouraged each day instead of believing the temporary lies of evil that only want to discourage. We learn that righteous individuals are able to persevere in the worship GOD Almighty and strengthen themselves instead of stagnating in vices. We learn that the disciples and apostles were able to persevere preaching King Jesus Christ Eternal LORD and Savior and obeying the commandments of Moses with sincerity of heart. The disciples and apostles preached obeying King Jesus Christ, and we learn that Christianity increases to the nations and in Israel. We learn that even with opposition from the Saducees, Cephas preaches King Jesus Christ Eternal LORD and Savior. We learn that when Cephas healed an individual because of the healing power of King Jesus Christ, the Saducees attempt to prevent Cephas from preaching King Jesus Christ LORD and Savior. This describes the envy of false prophets and false apostles who preach but do not practice obedience to the commandments of Moses. We learn that Cephas states,
"So they called them and charged them not to speak or teach at all in the name of Jesus. But Cephas and John answered them, 'Whether it is right in the sight of GOD to listen to you rather than to GOD, you must judge, for we can not but speak of what we have seen and heard.' And when they had further threatened them, they let them go, finding no way to punish them, because of the people, for all were praising GOD for what had happened. For the man on whom this sign was performed was more than forty years of age."-Acts 18-20
We learn that Cephas speaks about the need to obey GOD Almighty instead of listening to the discouragements, demotivation, and envy from the temporary lies of evil. We know that three thousand individuals were converting to Christianity on one day because of Cephas and then five thousand individuals where converting to Christianity on another day because of the zeal and power of Cephas due to the worship of GOD Almighty. We learn that there is power and authority in preaching King Jesus Christ Eternal LORD and Savior. We know that Cephas improves in the worship of GOD Almighty being able to be a fisher of men from being a fisherman. We learn that he is able to write his letters indicating the importance of virtues and zeal in the worship of GOD Almighty. We know that Cephas was able to preach in Israel and was a rock to the Church of King Jesus Christ in Jerusalem just how King Jesus Christ had stated. We know that King Jesus Christ changed Peter's name to Cephas meaning rock symbolizing that Cephas was going to be a rock to the Church of King Jesus Christ in Jerusalem.
We learn that Cephas was persecuted by the Saducees because he preached with zeal. We know that there is power in having zeal seeing that Cephas was also able to walk on water when King Jesus Christ was walking on water. We learn that Cephas persevered even amidst persecution by Saducees who slandered Cephas telling him not to preach in the name of King Jesus Christ. We learn that Cephas did not listen to the Saducees who were liars and false prophets and instead decided to listen to King Jesus Christ preaching eternal truth that King Jesus Christ is Eternal LORD and Savior and who improves us to be better individuals. We know that Cephas was able to heal the individual who could not walk and individuals were glorying and praising GOD Almighty. We learn that individuals who were ill and had diseases went to Cephas so that they could only pass by the shadow of Cephas and be healed of their infirmities. We learn that there is power in King Jesus Christ, the name above every other name. We know that Christianity describes the importance of persevering even amidst envy, persecution, or obstacles. We know that we are not to fear, envy, or have anger because GOD Almighty allows us to keep preaching with authority and sovereignty being freed from the shackles and chains of sin and vices. We see in the times of the disciples and apostles how the practice of false religions had caused diseases, infirmities, and sickness that had never been seen in the past. We read in the Books of Moses that the practice of idol worship leads to diseases, fever, and inflammation when there is no repentance of sin. This describes that obeying the commandments of Moses with sincerity of heart guards us from sickness and diseases described in the Books of Moses. We learn that King Jesus Christ frees us from sin and vices that we do not need. We know that the disciples and apostles including Luke, John, and Paul were also able to preach with authority and keep persevering so much so that Christianity increased to the nations and Israel. We learn that everyone knows the names of the twelve disciples of King Jesus Christ because of how Christianity has grown in the past two thousand years. We learn that we even know about Judas Iscariot so that we know what we are not supposed to be like placing our importance on the worship of GOD Almighty and not on temporary material resources.
"There is therefore now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus."- Romans 8: 1
