 Persevering With Fidelity to GOD Almighty Amidst the Times That We Are Living In 

Positive Christianity Series Episode # 126

The Sacred Scriptures describe the manner that we can persevere having encouragement and motivation in the worship of GOD Almighty. We grow in wisdom to know that we can not practice idol worship that does not help at all and only causes difficulties, woes, stagnation, and destruction for the unrepentant wicked. Paul describes that we are not supposed to walk in the darkness of idol worship and are supposed to be vigilant concerning the times that we are living in. We know these are not the best of times due to the earthquakes, pestilences, and famine that is happening. We know that King Jesus Christ told us in the Book of Luke 21: 9-11 about the need to know the signs and the seasons so that we stay vigilant and sober-minded so that we do not believe the temporary lies of sin and idol worship.

"Besides this you know the time, that the hour has come for you to wake from sleep. For salvation is nearer to us now than when we first believed. The night is far gone; the day is at hand. So then let us cast off the works of darkness and put on the armor of light."- Romans 13: 11-12

We are able to have discernment with the help of the Sacred Scriptures, the Spirit of Truth, prayer, and obeying the commandments of Moses to know the times and the seasons that we are living in. We know that with each passing day we are closer to the end of the ages. Each day we are closer to Shabbath and each Shabbath we are closer to Shabbath Millennium. We are supposed to know the times and the seasons so that we do not practice idol worship. We know that the obedience to the commandments of Moses is a shield and light that guides us and prevents us from walking in darkness. We know that we can not practice idol worship because it wants to lead to darkness. We know that idol worship leads to not knowing where individuals are going, what they are doing, or where they are. Idol worship wants to lead to a lack of meaning and purpose seen in nihilism and atheism and even further in socialism and communism. Idol worship wants to lead to adultery, and adultery wants to lead to idol worship. Instead we choose to walk in the light of the worship of the True GOD of gods, GOD Almighty.

"Let us walk properly as in the daytime, not in orgies and drunkness, not in sexual immorality and sensuality, not in quarreling and jealousy. But put on the LORD Jesus Christ, and make no provisions for the flesh, to gratify its desires."- Romans 13: 11-14

Paul describes the need to avoid adultery and idol worship. We know that this is consistent to the instruction that Moses stated in Exodus 20: 1-17 and also the instruction of King Jesus Christ in the New Testament. We are protected from sexual immorality describing lust, fornication, adultery, orgies, and homosexuality. This describes the need to remove lasciviousness and sensuality from our day to day lives so that we do not practice fornication and adultery that leads to worse sin. We know that lust and idol worship want to lead to strife, bitterness, conflict, and envy so that there is unneeded conflict. We know that idolators, adulterers, and adultresses cause conflict instead of being at peace and having serenity. This is because they practice idol worship and do not obey the commandments of Moses with sincerity of heart. We can choose to remove lust and hate because we choose to worship the GOD of gods, GOD Almighty instead of practicing idol worship. We learn that there is the need to practice temperance and have dominion over lust so that we do not practice sin. We are able to remove addictions practicing righteousness and remove vices seen in drunkenness and drug abuse. Temperance allows us to acknowledge that we have everything that we need in King Jesus Christ and do not need unneeded unnecessary external chemicals that the brain and body do not need and that lead to difficulties. This wisdom allows us to remove addictions and practice temperance. We can remove ourselves from false prophets that want to lead to idol worship, drunkenness, conflict, negative emotions, and envy. 

We know that we do not need to practice sensuality and lasciviousness because it tries to lead to lust, fornication, adultery, orgies, and homosexuality. We know that while evil attempts to portray lust as inoffensive and helpful, we know the reality that there are drug resistant sexually transmitted diseases from the practice of irresponsible fornication outside the marriage. We know that evil is not going to say, "The sexually transmitted diseases can lead to worse diseases including HIV and AIDS". This describes that we have to go to the Sacred Scriptures and know the truth. We know that we are supposed to practice responsibility and speak truth. We are able to know from Biology and Medicine that irresponsible use of sex leads to drug resistant STDs and worse diseases. We know that false advertisements and socialist and communist propaganda do not speak the reality of engaging in unsafe sex and vices. The Sacred Scriptures speak truth about making sure we persevere in times of difficulties so that we avoid the increased difficulties that the practice of sin and vices causes to the unrepentant wicked. We know that the desires of the flesh describing the practice of sin and vices attempt to go against the worship of GOD Almighty. For this reason, we have to guard our heart and mind in the worship of GOD Almighty. We are able to obey the commandments with sincerity of heart and have the help of the Spirit of Truth so that we avoid anything that is not trying to help. Sin is not going to say from the beginning that it wants to lead to difficulties, stagnation, and destruction. We learn from the Sacred Scriptures that we need to persevere worshiping GOD Almighty and fighting the desires of the flesh that work in opposition to growing in virtues and worshiping GOD Almighty. We learn that instead of having stagnation and vices, we grow in virtues and wisdom. We choose salvation in King Jesus Christ instead of destruction in the path of idol worship and sin. We are able to acknowledge that evil wants to lead sinners to fornication, fornication to adultery, adultery to orgies, and orgies to homosexuality. We know that we can avoid all of that by being responsible and practicing filial love and genuine empathy. We can acknowledge that these are not the best of times to start families. Instead we can use our time and virtues to worship GOD Almighty and preach King Jesus Christ. We are supposed to be vigilant and sober-minded so that we avoid drunkenness and addictions that do not help.
