King Jesus Christ Preached About the Importance of Trusting in GOD Almighty Over Temporary Material Resources
Positive Christianity Series Episode #140
King Jesus Christ instructed in the Gospel the need to worship GOD Almighty above everything including the temporary things of the world describing temporary material resources, temporary material wealth, and idol worship. We learn that the instruction of King Jesus Christ is consistent with the instruction of Moses about obeying the commandments instructed on Mount Sinai on two tablets of stone and making sure we love GOD Almighty with all our heart, mind, strength, and being. King Jesus Christ instructed on the need to rely on GOD Almighty instead of the temporary things of the world. We learn that this wisdom prevents us from believing the temporary lies of sin that want individuals to prioritize temporary material things over the worship of GOD Almighty. We know that evil tries to make temporary material things the most important thing with temptations, yet we know that GOD Almighty saves us and delivers us from believing temporary lies of the accuser. We know that the temptations are based on deceit, temporary lies, and falsehoods that are not true. We know that GOD Almighty loves us with unconditional love and wants the best for us. For this reason, we can not believe the temporary lies of sin that wants to offer crumbs when we know that the temptations are based on temporary lies. We learn that instead we choose to trust GOD Almighty who is able to provide favor and blessings that are eternal and celestial instead of temporary and based on deceit.
"And Jesus said to his disciples, 'Truly, I say to you, only with difficulty will a rich person enter the Kingdom of Heaven."- Matthew 19: 23
King Jesus Christ tells us that only by prioritizing GOD Almighty above everything are we able to persevere. We learn that an individual can not serve two masters and he will prefer one over the other. An individual can not serve GOD Almighty and money because the individual will choose one master over another. We learn that for this reason, we have to decide for King Jesus Christ over the temporary things of the world that are based on deceit and temporary lies. We know that a rich person has the temptation to trust wealth over GOD Almighty, and the only manner to persevere is in the worship of GOD Almighty. We know that wealth is temporary and finite while the worship of GOD Almighty allows us to keep persevering with eternal salvation, virtues, wisdom, power, authority, dominion, sovereignty, might, strength, fervor, courage, valor, counsel, favor, blessings, protection from sin, envy, and evil, perseverance, persistence, resiliency, and fidelity to GOD Almighty.
We learn that there were rich individuals who decided to use their wealth for the worship of GOD Almighty instead of trusting in their wealth. We learn that Zaccheus was an individual that decided to give half of his wealth to the poor and obey King Jesus Christ. We learn that Zaccheus also stated that he would return any money that he had wrongfully taken from individuals describing the need to practice integrity, ethics, and morality to be a true Christian. We learn that Paul decided to renounce Phariseeism in order to preach King Jesus Christ. We learn that while Paul had temporary wealth from being a Pharisee, he decided to renounce temporary wealth and temporary riches for eternal salvation and preaching King Jesus Christ Eternal LORD and Savior. We learn that King Jesus Christ tells us that it is possible to renounce idolatry for the worship of GOD Almighty. King Jesus Christ also stated that temporary wealth can be a temptation that leads individuals far from GOD Almighty. Instead of prioritizing temporary wealth like Solomon that caused him to practice idol worship, we can prioritize the worship of GOD Almighty like Job and David who persevered amidst everything trusting in GOD Almighty instead of temporary wealth and idolatry.
We learn that we are able to persevere trusting in GOD Almighty instead of trusting in temporary material resources. Paul does not go back to being a Pharisee nor does he have resentments of renouncing idolatry. Paul has gladness of heart and true joy preaching King Jesus Christ to the nations. We learn that Paul was able to persevere trusting in GOD Almighty who is Infinite, Eternal, Indestructible, Infallible, Inexhaustible, Omnipotent, Omnipresent, Omniscient, and Just among other qualities the human mind can not understand. We are supposed to trust in the Eternal and Infinite GOD Almighty instead of finite temporary monetary resources. We learn that Judas Iscariot trusted in the finite and quantifiable material resources rather than trust in the GOD of gods. This wisdom allows us to differentiate the goodness that GOD Almighty wants us to have in obedience to GOD Almighty seen in the righteous individuals of Scripture that trusted GOD Almighty rather than placing our trust in idolatry. We learn that our self-worth is in the worship of GOD Almighty and not on extrinsic temporary material things.
"Again I tell you, it is easier for a camel to go through the eye of a needle than for a rich person to enter the Kingdom of GOD."- Matthew 19: 24
