King Jesus Christ Preached the Importance of Trusting GOD Almighty Over Temporary Material Resources
Positive Christianity Series Episode #141
"Again I tell you, it is easier for a camel to go through the eye of a needle than for a rich person to enter the Kingdom of GOD."- Matthew 19: 24
This wisdom allows us to choose the worship of GOD Almighty over material wealth in order to obtain eternal salvation. This describes the need to have faith in GOD Almighty instead of having faithlessness in the practice of idol worship. If individuals decide to choose to prioritize and practice idolatry prioritizing material wealth, they are not in the path of eternal salvation because individuals have to renounce idolatry to practice faith, humility, obedience to the commandments, and prioritize the Creator.
We can trust in GOD Almighty to provide our necessities while we prioritize eternal salvation and acknowledge King Jesus Christ Eternal LORD and Savior. We know that GOD Almighty does not forsake the righteous who decide to prioritize the worship of GOD Almighty and have zealous faith that turns to fidelity to GOD Almighty. We know that temporary wealth can become a snare and stumbling block to individuals that worship temporary wealth and temporary material resources that is idolatry. We learn that instead we have true joy instead of coveting because we have the things that we need and if we do not have something, then we do not need it. We learn that GOD Almighty did not forsake Abraham and Sarah when they did not have the age to conceive. We learn that Abraham and Sarah trusted in GOD Almighty and not in their material possessions. GOD Almighty did not forsake Israel in Egypt because GOD Almighty raised up Moses to free Israel from Egypt. GOD Almighty did not forsake Joshua when there were 7-9 idolatrous and hostile nations and some had giants. GOD Almighty did not forsake David even amidst persecution, not having connections, and not prioritizing temporary material wealth.
"When the disciples heard this, they were greatly astonished, saying, 'Who then can be saved? But Jesus looked at them and said, 'With man this is impossible, but with GOD all things are possible.'- Matthew 19: 25-26
GOD Almighty allows us to know that we can trust and have confidence in GOD Almighty above everything. We learn that the things of the world describing idol worship, temporary wealth, and temporary material resources are not eternal. We are supposed to prioritize the worship of GOD Almighty instead of the superficial, vain, and temporary things of idolatry. The disciples questioned who could be saved if it was difficult for a rich person to enter the Kingdom of Heaven. King Jesus Christ answered that only in the worship of GOD Almighty can we enter the Kingdom of Heaven and obtain eternal salvation. This means we do not trust in idolatry and instead trust in the GOD Almighty who is LORD and Creator of everything. This means that we prioritize the worship of GOD Almighty over temporary wealth, temporary material resources, and idolatry. We learn that individuals can administrate their wealth so that the wealth is used to worship GOD Almighty. This means that the worship of GOD Almighty is prioritized to the temporary material wealth. We learn about Zacchaeus who was a rich man yet decided to give half of his wealth to the poor and needy instead of being greedy and stingy. Zacchaeus acknowledged King Jesus Christ Eternal LORD and Savior and preferred to obey King Jesus Christ than to be greedy and covetous. Zacchaeus instead of prioritizing his wealth like the rich young man that left sorrowful because he could not give away his possessions to the poor and needy, decides to share half of his wealth with the needy and welcome King Jesus Christ into his house.
This describes that we are supposed to choose the worship of GOD Almighty over everything in this life including temporary material wealth, temporary material resources, and idolatry. We learn that idol worship can include the worship of temporary wealth and temporary material resources similar to Nabal and Balaam who decided to disobey GOD Almighty in order to be greedy, foolish, and resentful in the case of Nabal and disobedient, covetous, and wicked in the case of Balaam that led both to destruction. We learn that Nabal did not want to give to David some of his resources due to being envious of David or fearful of Saul, and Balaam wanted to help Moab in order to gain illicit resources while suggesting the practice of idol worship and adultery. We learn that there are righteous examples from the Sacred Scriptures that prioritize GOD Almighty instead of idolatry. We learn that Moses and David persevere trusting in GOD Almighty instead of temporary wealth.
