Treasuring the Worship of GOD Almighty Above Everything
Treasuring the Worship of GOD Almighty Above Everything
Positive Christianity Series Episode #137
King Jesus Christ tells us in the Sacred Scriptures about the need to prioritize the worship of GOD Almighty above everything in this life including "relationships" that want to lead to idol worship, temporary material possessions, and idolatry. We learn that King Jesus Christ tells us of the need to prioritize the worship of GOD Almighty instead of practicing idol worship. We learn that there was an individual from the crowd who was following King Jesus Christ that wanted his brother to divide the inheritance with him. We learn that King Jesus Christ responds about the need to prioritize the worship of GOD Almighty to avoid covetousness.
"Someone in the crowd said to him, 'Teacher, tell my brother to divide the inheritance with me.' But he said to him, 'Man, who made me a judge and arbitrator over you?' And he said to them, 'Take care, and be on your guard against all covetousness for one's life does not consist in the abundance of his possessions."- Luke 12: 13-15
King Jesus Christ describes that we are supposed to prioritize the worship of GOD Almighty instead of temporary material possessions. We are not supposed to covet temporary material possessions and instead we can persevere in obedience to GOD Almighty. King Jesus Christ tells us not to envy nor covet because one's life does not consist in the abundance of temporary material possessions. GOD Almighty allows us to obtain our basic necessities while improving in the worship of GOD Almighty. We learn that we are supposed to avoid envy and covetousness because they do not help and want to lead to the practice of disobedience to the commandments of Moses. GOD Almighty allows us to have the things that we need so that we do not go to the path of perdition based on envy, anger, bitterness, covetousness, idol worship, practice of vices, temporary lies, and stagnation. We learn that we obtain the things that we need meaning that we have our basic necessities, air, food, water, light, protection from evil, envy, and sin, and the ability to keep improving in virtues describing wisdom, authority, dominion, sovereignty, autonomy, power, might, boldness, courage, humility, zeal, responsibility, and most important of all virtues, fidelity, to GOD Almighty.
We learn that improving in virtues is more important than temporary material resources because the virtues can keep increasing and can not be measured, quantified, or enumerated because they can keep improving. We can not say that wisdom improved 5% or might increased 15%. We know that we can keep increasing and improving in the worship of GOD Almighty when we choose to accept and confess King Jesus Christ Eternal LORD and Savior and obey the commandments of Moses. King Jesus Christ tells us to prioritize the preaching of King Jesus Christ and everything else is added Matthew 6: 33. King Jesus Christ preached against idolatry, envy, and covetousness allowing us to know that instead we worship GOD Almighty above everything in this life.
"For where your treasure is, there will your heart be also."- Luke 12: 34
We are supposed to prioritize obedience to GOD Almighty above everything while fighting off the temporary lies of deceit from temptations that want individuals to have envy, coveting, and prioritize temporary material resources. We learn that if there are things that we do not have, it is because we probably do not need them. We learn that specific things can become snares or stumbling blocks if individuals decide to prioritize material temporary resources. We learn that GOD Almighty allows us to know the things that we need and instead of envying, we can be greatful that we do not have specific things that may only attempt to lead to the road of perdition in the practice of idol worship and vices. For this reason, we can have gratitude for the things that we do not have because if the intention is to lead to the practice of sin and idol worship, then we do not need those things. We learn that David persevered without prioritizing temporary material resources and without trusting in connections similar to Job. We learn that Job and David prioritized the worship of GOD Almighty and persevered even when they were being persecuted by the envy of evil. The Parable of the Sower describes the need to keep obeying the commandments of Moses, prioritizing the worship of GOD Almighty, and preaching King Jesus Christ Eternal LORD and Savior. We are able to preach and persevere in the worship of GOD Almighty even amidst persecution or temptation. We choose to prioritize King Jesus Christ over temporary material possessions, connections or "relationships" that want to lead to idol worship, temporary wealth, and idol worship. We know that if GOD Almighty is all we have, GOD Almighty is all we need similar to Abraham and Sarah, Moses, Joshua, Hannah, Samuel, and David who persevered trusting in GOD Almighty above everything.
