GOD Almighty reminds us that regardless of persecution, tribulation, or times, GOD Almighty allows us to persevere because we decide to obey and worship GOD Almighty above everything

"But he himself went a day's journey into the wilderness and came and sat down under a broom tree. And he asked that he might die, saying, 'It is enough; now O LORD, take away my life, for I am no better than my fathers.' And he lay down and slept under a broom tree. And behold, an angel touched him and said, 'Arise and eat.' And he looked, and behold, there was at his head a cake baked on hot stones and a jar of water. And he ate and drank and lay down again. And the angel of the LORD came again a second time and touched him and said, 'Arise and eat for the journey is too great for you.' And he arose and ate and drank, and went in the strength of that food forty days and forty nights to Horeb, the mount of GOD.'"- 1 Kings 19: 4-8

We learn that Elijah was able to accomplish great wonders and return Israel to the true faith. This caused the anger of Jezebel who threatens Elijah. We learn that Elijah flees and tells GOD Almighty that GOD Almighty take his life. This is with the understanding that Elijah did not know how we was going to make it. We learn that GOD Almighty responds to Elijah by sending an angel that gives Elijah food and water and tells him to eat the food. GOD Almighty does not forsake Elijah even when Elijah had doubts. We learn that this describes the importance of trusting in GOD Almighty who helps us persevere because we go to prayer and decide to not practice idol worship. GOD Almighty strengthens Elijah and describes the manner that GOD Almighty does not forsake the righteous and faithful

We learn that GOD Almighty does not forsake Elijah even when Elijah thought that there were considerable difficulties. GOD Almighty allows us to know that we do not have to care about the discouragements, circumstances, times, and persecution and instead we can prioritize and care about the worship of GOD Almighty. We can choose to prioritize the worship of GOD Almighty and not believe the temporary lies of evil. GOD Almighty helps us know that we can trust in GOD Almighty above everything and not doubt our faith and zeal for the worship of GOD Almighty

"There he came to a cave and lodged in it. And behold, the word of the LORD came to him, and he said to him, 'What are you doing here Elijah?' He said, 'I have been very jealous for the LORD, the GOD of hosts. For the people of Israel have forsaken your covenant, thrown down your altars, and killed your prophets with the sword, and I, even I only, am left, and they seek my life, to take it away.' And he said, 'Go out and stand on the mount before the LORD.' And behold, the LORD, passed by and a great and strong wind tore the mountains and broke in pieces the rocks before the LORD, but the LORD was not in the wind. And after the wind an earthquake, but the LORD was not in the earthquake. And after the earthquake a fire, but the LORD was not in the fire.'"- 1 Kings 19: 9-12

We learn that after Elijah eats and perseveres forty days and forty nights and goes to the mountain, GOD Almighty asks Elijah why he was where he was. We learn that GOD Almighty knows everything for all time and all eternity. GOD Almighty knows all perspectives and points of view of individuals even before they are in the womb and even before they are born. GOD Almighty knew the intentions of the heart and mind of Elijah. We know that GOD Almighty asks Elijah this question with the intention to know Elijah's perspective. This is because GOD Almighty wants us to go to prayer. This allows us to know that GOD Almighty cares about righteous individuals and does not forsake us. We are able to understand that prayer helps. We learn that GOD Almighty listens to Elijah and shows Elijah that GOD Almighty is with him. Elijah has zeal for the worship of GOD Almighty and does not like that Israel was practicing disobedience to the commandments of Moses and worshiping false idols. GOD Almighty does not forsake Elijah and provides signs and wonders that prove that He is with Elijah. GOD Almighty makes a strong wind that tears through the mountains, yet GOD Almighty was not in the strong wind. GOD Almighty makes an earthquake, yet GOD Almighty was not in the earthquake. GOD Almighty makes fire, yet GOD Almighty is not in the fire. We learn that GOD Almighty shows Elijah that He is with him regardless of times, osbtacles, and persecution.
