Paul Describes the Eternal Salvation That Exists in King Jesus Christ
Positive Christianity Series Episode #152
Paul describes the importance of acknowledging that true righteousness can only be developed through the worship of GOD Almighty. We learn that evil attempts to lead to self-righteousness by speaking lies describing that righteousness can be obtained by oneself and without the need of GOD Almighty. This is so that individuals are prevented from realizing that true righteousness is only developed in the worship of GOD Almighty. We learn that this is a temporary lie that the accuser uses to tempt into the practice of hypocrisy, arrogance, and idol worship. We are supposed to remove self-righteousness from our lives that was seen in the Pharisees and instead have true righteousness seen similar to Paul who obeyed the commandments of Moses Exodus 20: 1-17. We do not obey the false "commandments" of the Pharisees nor have disbelief concerning the resurrection of King Jesus Christ like the Saducees.
"Brothers and sisters, my heart's desire and prayer to GOD for them is that they may be saved. For I bear them witness that they have a zeal for GOD, but not according to knowledge. For, being ignorant of the righteousness of GOD, and seeking to establish their own, they did not submit to GOD's righteousness."- Romans 10: 1-3
We learn that initially, Paul attempted to preach in Israel, yet the Pharisees attempted to prevent Paul from preaching. We learn in the Book of Acts how Paul preached in the synagogues, and the Pharisees were astonished that Paul could preach King Jesus Christ Eternal LORD and Savior when he was a previous persecutor of the Church. We learn that the Pharisees had two plots against Paul, yet GOD Almighty allowed Paul to escape and persevere preaching eternal truth. Paul describes that it was self-righteousness that was preventing the Pharisees and faithless idolators that were Israelites from accepting King Jesus Christ Eternal LORD and Savior. We learn that when Paul was prevented from preaching in Israel, Paul preaches to the nations and completes the words of GOD Almighty described in Isaiah 65: 1. We learn that there were righteous disciples and apostles that preached in Israel, and that there were also righteous Jewish individuals that converted to Christianity.
We learn that Paul describes that the idolators and Pharisees that were being ignorant of the righteousness of GOD meant that they attempted to practice self-righteousness in seeking to establish their own. The Pharisees had instructed six-hundred additional false mortal made "commandments" that tried to impede individuals from honoring the commandments instructed to Moses on two tablets of stone on Mount Sinai. We learn that the intention of the six- hundred false mortal made "commandments" was not to help worship GOD Almighty and instead were meant to discourage individuals from practicing true Christianity in obedience to the commandments of Moses. The false "commandments" were to cause individuals to question who could obey all of the six-hundred false "commandments" and cause them to be a burden discouraging the worship of GOD Almighty. This was to discourage true righteousness from being developed and lead to self-righteousness, hypocrisy, and arrogance. We learn that the Pharisees that added false "commandments" did not practice the additional "commandments" nor the commandments of Moses.
We learn that the false mortal made "commandments" did not seek to help individuals obey the true commandments of Moses. The intention was not to love GOD Almighty with all their heart, mind, and being and respect humanity, and instead it was to lead to idol worship in the form of self-worship. This was with the intention to "appear" righteous by appearing to obey false "commandments" while not obeying the true commandments of Moses. This describes essentially what hypocrisy is. We learn that GOD Almighty does not want us to be hypocrites seen in Korah's rebellion in Moses' time who did not want to obey GOD Almighty, obey the true commandments, and rebelled against the authority of Moses while wanting to return to Egypt to practice idol worship. GOD Almighty wants us to practice filial love, genuine empathy, obedience to the true commandments, and grace. This is described by loving GOD Almighty above everything and respecting humanity. We are supposed to be righteous in the worship of GOD Almighty and not self-righteous. If we can avoid self-righteousness, we can avoid being hypocritical, arrogant, and idolatrous. We are supposed to avoid false prophets and idolators.
