Trusting in the Eternal and Infinite Sovereignty of GOD Almighty
Trusting in the Eternal and Infinite Sovereignty of GOD Almighty
Positive Christianity Series Episode #151
We learn in the Sacred Scriptures about the manner that GOD Almighty works all things for good. We learn that while GOD Almighty gave Israel opportunities to accept the Gospel when the disciples and the apostles preached, there were some in Israel who did not want to accept the truth of the Gospel. We learn that when Israel did not want to accept the Gospel, the Gentiles were able to hear the message of repentance of sin. We learn that the disciples and apostles are able to preach to the nations, and the nations convert to Christianity. While the Pharisees and Saducees attempted to prevent the disciples and apostles from preaching, we learn that GOD Almighty allowed the Gentiles to hear the message of repentance of sin, and they convert. We learn that Paul preaches to the nations, and the nations convert to Christianity, repent of idol worship, and forsake sin.
"I was ready to be sought by those who did not ask for me; I was ready to be found by those who did not seek me."- Isaiah 65: 1
We learn that while the Gospel attempted to be prevented from being preached by the Pharisees and Saducees in Israel, we learn that the disciples and apostles were able to preach in Israel and also in the nations. We learn that the disciples were able to preach in the nations. Paul was able to preach in Rome, Greece, Cyprus, Asia Minor, Malta, and Crete. We learn that the disciples and apostles also preached to the nations surrounding Israel. After the unrepentant sin and idol worship of the Pharisees and Saducees, we learn that the Roman scattering caused the disciples and apostles to preach in the nations while Phariseeism and Saduceeism declined. We learn that the nations began to convert and accept and confess King Jesus Christ Eternal LORD and Savior.
"What shall we say then? That Gentiles who did not pursue righteousness, have attained it, that is, a righteousness that is by faith; but Israel who pursued a law that would lead to righteousness did not suceed in reaching that law. Why? Because they did not pursue it by faith, but as if it were based on works. They have stumbled over the stumbling stone, as it is written, 'Behold, I am laying in Zion a stone of stumbling, and a rock of offense; and whoever believes in him will not be put to shame.'"- Romans 9: 30-33
We learn that the self-righteousness of the Pharisees attempted to prevent individuals from accepting the message of repentance of sin, grace, and eternal filial love that is King Jesus Christ. We learn that the Gentiles were able to accept King Jesus Christ because they acknowledged that righteousness is obtained and developed by faith and not by self-righteousness that leads to arrogance, hypocrisy, and faithlessness. Individuals failed to realize that GOD Almighty is the source of the virtues including righteousness. We can only develop and improve in righteousness by worshiping GOD Almighty with sincerity heart, and we must understand that we ourselves are not the source of righteousness or virtues. This wisdom prevents arrogance, hypocrisy, and faithlessness from occurring.
We are able to develop wisdom that helps us know that we are not the source of righteousness, and only GOD Almighty can develop virtues in individuals in the worship of GOD Almighty. We are supposed to obey the commandments of Moses while adding grace and filial love. We learn that King Jesus Christ is infinite and eternal grace and filial love. This wisdom prevents self-righteousness from leading to arrogance, hypocrisy, and envy that wants individuals to have hearts of stone. Self-righteousness tries to lead to self-worship and idol worship where there is no filial love. We learn that the Pharisees taught that individuals needed to obey six hundred mortal made "commandments" that they themselves did not practice and also led to practicing sin, idol worship, and hypocrisy. For this reason, King Jesus Christ is called the stumbling stone of offense for the wicked because there is the need to understand that we need GOD Almighty to be righteous, increase in virtues including true wisdom, and practice grace and filial love. For the meek and humble, King Jesus Christ is the Chief Cornerstone on which we edify ourselves and construct on the eternal. We learn that we accept and confess King Jesus Christ Eternal LORD and Savior because we recognize that we need our LORD and Savior to help us persevere worshiping GOD Almighty above everything similar to Paul. While Paul was a Pharisee, Paul recognized King Jesus Christ Eternal Messiah and forsook idolatry and self-righteousness for humility, righteousness, and grace. We learn that Paul preached to the nations, and the nations renounced idolatry for the worship of the GOD of gods, GOD Almighty. We learn that GOD Almighty did not forsake Paul, and Paul was able to accomplish his purpose of worshiping GOD Almighty. Paul never returned back to Phariseeism once he decided to renounce Phariseeism for King Jesus Christ. This describes the truth that King Jesus Christ is our everything and our Chief Cornerstone on whom we build up for eternity. We learn that we have everything in King Jesus Christ and most important of all eternal salvation.
