Jehu Judges Jezebel

 Jehu Judges Jezebel

Positive Christianity Series Episode #167

GOD Almighty is able to give grace and also justice. GOD Almighty gives vengeance against the wicked for their sin. We learn that we are supposed to persevere leaving the vengeance to GOD Almighty while we persevere obeying the commandments of Moses and preaching truth. We are able to acknowledge that the justice of GOD Almighty is amazing and wonderous. Jehu goes to Jezebel's room and seeks to destroy her for her sin. We learn that she asked if it was peace to Jehu being that she showed no kindness to Naboth and also persecuted the righteous prophets including Elijah. Jezebel has no remorse and instead insults Jehu saying he had murdered his master when, in reality, he was judging the wickedness of Ahab and Jezebel

Jehu was promoted by GOD Almighty to king of Israel and no longer was the commander of Ahab and Jezebel's army. Jehu decides to obey GOD Almighty and destroys the house of Ahab and Jezebel for their grave sin. GOD Almighty decided to judge wickedness and allowed Jehu to destroy the wicked. Jehu's story allows us to know that GOD Almighty does not forsake the righteous and gives judgment against wickedness. While the snake may say that GOD Almighty does not pay attention to an individual's life, we learn that GOD Almighty is very aware of each individual's actions and decisions. This wisdom allows us to know that we can not believe the temporary lies of the snake that says that all people practice sin and wickedness when, in actuality, there are righteous individuals throught history and for all eternity

"And he lifted up his face to the window and said, 'Who is on my side.' Who? Two or three eunuchs looked out at him. He said, 'Throw her down.' So they threw her down. And some of her blood splattered on the wall and on the horses, and they trampled on her. Then he went in and ate and drank."- 2 Kings 9: 30-34

"When they came back and told him, he said, 'This is the word of the LORD, which he spoke by his servant Elijah the Tishbite: 'In the territory of Jezreel the dogs shall eat the flesh of Jezebel, and the corpse of Jezebel shall be as dung on the face of the field in the territory of Jezreel, so that no one can say, 'This is Jezebel.'"- 2 Kings 9: 36-37

Jehu destroys Jezabel by throwing her out of the window, and Jezebel is destroyed. We learn that the word of Elijah happens being that Jezebel is destroyed in the specific manner that GOD Almighty had said. Jezebel would be destroyed and the dogs would eat the flesh of Jezebel for her wickedness. We learn that happens similar to how the dogs would lick the blood of Ahab. This describes that GOD Almighty judges the wicked when there is no repentance of sin with sincerity of heart. GOD Almighty is justice and vengeance

When evil tries to speak temporary lies, we are supposed to be far apart from wickedness and evil. GOD Almighty judges wickedness when GOD Almighty decides. After being given grace, GOD Almighty destroys Ahab, Jezebel, the offspring of Ahab, and the false prophets for having practiced wickedness, idol worship, and persecuting righteous individuals like Naboth. Jehu decides to obey GOD Almighty and issues judgment against Ahab, Jezebel, and the false prophets. Jehu destroys the house of Ahab for having killed Naboth and his children. Jehu obeys GOD Almighty and destroys Ahab and Jezebel. Jehu has strong zeal being able to also destroy the false prophets of Baal that practiced idol worship. We learn that Jehu is considered an individual that describes the power of obeying GOD Almighty with zeal. Jehu is given great favor for having issued judgment against the wicked. We learn that we can not be a part of wickedness, adultery, temporary lies, and idol worship because it tries to lead to disobedience. We learn that the righteous are spared including Elijah, Jehoshaphat, and the righteous prophets. We learn that we can not be a part of sin and wickedness because GOD Almighty is very aware of the sin that individuals are partaking in knowing there are books in heaven describing the good and the wickedness of each individual. We learn from the story of Jehoram that individuals should avoid bad company seeing the manner that Atalia, Ahab and Jezebel's daughter, attempted to also cause difficulties due to idol worship. We learn that Jehoida and Jehoshabeath were able to prevent wickedness by worshiping GOD Almighty above everything and removed Atalia similar to Jehu. This wisdom reminds us to be far apart from negative individuals that are idolators, adulterers, and adultresses. We learn that the light can not partake with the darkness.
