David Describes the Importance of Fidelity in Psalm 119

David describes in the Psalms about the importance of persevering with fidelity to GOD Almighty while removing sin and idol worship from our lives. David describes the importance of unchanging devotion to the GOD of gods, GOD Almighty, and does not forsake obedience to the commandments of Moses. David has sincerity of heart that prevents him from practicing iniquity and envy. We learn that David accomplishes his purpose of obeying GOD Almighty with zeal and repenting of sin. David helps us know that it is possible to persevere amidst affliction, obstacles, and tribulation. We learn that David does not get discouraged and instead has resolve and determination to keep persevering with gratitude practicing righteousness.
"With my whole heart I seek you; let me not wander from your commandments!"- Psalm 119: 10
David recognizes with humility that only the worship of GOD Almighty allows him to improve in virtues with salvation. While David does not know all the details, David trusts in GOD Almighty who does know all the details for all time and all eternity. David describes the need to love GOD Almighty above everything of this temporary world. We learn that David describes that the fidelity to GOD Almighty is sweeter than honey and better than thousands of gold and silver pieces. This wisdom helps us know that GOD Almighty helps us improve in virtues while helping us persevere in the path of eternal salvation. We are supposed to accept correction and reproof and avoid wandering into the road of destruction describing idol worship, adultery, and the practice of vices.
We are able to persevere with integrity and morality choosing to worship GOD Almighty with sincerity of heart and steadfastness. We can persist with resiliency that is only developed in the worship of GOD Almighty. The commandments of Moses help us develop integrity and resiliency that allows us to persist amidst times, obstacles, and persecution. We learn that David is able to obtain favor and blessings being able to live to long life, being saved from the persecution of the envy of evil, and obtain authority for being resolute and having unchanging fidelity to GOD Almighty.
"I have stored up your word in my heart, that I might not sin against you."- Psalm 119: 11
We are able to keep the commandments of Moses in our heart and mind and choose to obey the commandments. We learn that we can not practice hypocrisy because it does not help. David describes the need to avoid the practice of sin and also repent of sin. This wisdom prevents sin from leading to vices. David acknowledges that sin is disobedience to GOD Almighty and decides to remove sin from his life. We learn from the life of David that he did not instruct the commandments and then chose to practice iniquity like the hypocrites. David obeyed the commandments of Moses and repented of sin when there was sin. We are able to know that we do not need to practice self-righteousness, yet we can persevere with true righteousness obeying the commandments of Moses. We can keep persevering obeying the commandments of Moses developing fidelity to GOD Almighty and avoiding the practice of sin, idolatry, lust, fornication, adultery, homosexuality, temporary lies, negative emotions describing envy, anger, fear, hate, bitterness, resentments, frustrations, coveting, and vices that want to lead to destruction seen in the stories of Goliath, Balaam, Balaak, Hanun, Hadadezer, and Saul.
