 David Perseveres Practicing Wisdom and Righteousness in Psalm 119

David acknowledges that we can persevere by worshiping GOD Almighty above everything. We can choose to practice integrity and morality while removing the things that do not help us. We learn that there are specific things that do not try to help us persevere in the path of eternal salvation. We can get rid of negative emotions, idol worship, sin, temporary lies, and vices. David describes that anything that does not help us improve our zeal for the worship of GOD Almighty should be removed. We can remove idol worship, self-worship, and false "relationships" that want to lead to idol worship and sin.

"Turn my eyes from looking at worthless things; and give me life in your paths."- Psalm 119: 37

David describes that we should remove the things that want to lead us to idolatry, adultery, envy, and coveting. We can remove anything that tries to lead to the practice of idolatry and adultery describing propagandistic books, lascivious, envious, and crude music, post-modernist magazines, news, movies, and series that want individuals to have envy, hate, and anger. We can remove post-modern media from our lives and choose to have better alternatives including helpful and edifying books, music that worships GOD Almighty and speaks about harmony instead of envy and lust, and good movies and series that have positive messages instead of hate and lust. We learn to persevere removing the things that we do not need. Over the years, I have gotten rid of movies, music, and magazines that had the intention to promote idol worship and adultery. This has helped me because I am able to prioritize the worship of GOD Almighty instead of being enamored with the temporary lies of the world that promise better things, yet only want to lead to destruction in the practice of sin and vices. 

I noticed how by being proactive and choosing to worship GOD Almighty over everything, I am able to persevere with dedication, responsibility, motivation, gladness of heart, authority, discipline, and most important of all, fidelity, to GOD Almighty. I have also gotten rid of the false"comparisons" by not visiting social media that has the intention to compare individuals (not allowed to publish helpful publishings on Pinterest, Instagram and upload or publish on Youtube for more than two years now). This has helped me know that we do not need to compare ourselves to anyone because we are distinct and unique individuals in the worship of GOD Almighty. I have noticed that since eliminating social media that looks to compare individuals to others, I have greater happiness and gratitude. This is because comparing oneself to others based on false "comparisons" of social media leads to decreased happiness, decreased sense of self-confidence, and envy. This has been studied by Psychologists and there are studies that state that by not using comparative social media every day, individuals actually improve their self-confidence and well-being. I can state that by using social media that instead helps us learn or improve ourselves by learning new skills (languages, self-improvement, and practicing gratitude) instead of comparing ourselves, helps our self-confidence and overall well-being. 

This allows us to know that we can persevere in the path of eternal salvation without paying attention to the discouragements of evil. We do not need anything that is trying to lead to crudeness, lewdness, lust, envy, resentments, anger, hate, bitterness, and coveting. We may be living in the times of difficulty prior to the great tribulation and/or the great tribulation and must remove the distractions and unneeded things that want to lead to sin and idol worship. We can choose better alternatives describing having helpful books (Viktor E. Frankl's Man's Search For Meaning is a great book that teaches resiliency and the importance of integrity) and music (Christian worship music, Classical music, Pacifist music describing the initial Reggae music of the 90s, Dance Music including Salsa that has fast rhythms among great genres that help us instead of trying to foment anger and lust) that help us feel motivated and encouraged instead of attempting to lead to envy, hate, idol worship, lust, anger, and coveting. We can persevere in the fear of the LORD worshiping GOD Almighty and denying idol worship. We learn to have the fear of the LORD because we know that there is favor and blessings in the worship of GOD while there are difficulties, vices, and destruction for the unrepentant wicked. We choose to obey the commandments of Moses with sincerity of heart because there is favor and blessings instead of difficulties, vices, and destruction. While there may be temptation and persecution, GOD Almighty is able to safeguard us in the path of eternal salvation similar to David. Instead of believing the temporary lies of the snake in the form of temptation, we choose GOD Almighty. Instead of being discouraged by the persecution of the snake, we choose to increase zeal and fidelity to GOD Almighty. This wisdom prevents us from being in the road of perdition. Instead, we can persevere worshiping the true GOD of gods and make it to Shabbath Millennium and New Jerusalem. 

"Confirm to your servant your promise, that you may be feared. Turn away the reproach that I dread, for your rules are good."- Psalm 119: 38-39
