 Obtaining Counsel and Wisdom in the Worship of GOD Almighty Described in Psalm 119

David instructs the importance of obeying the commandments of Moses because we are able to obtain counsel that prevents the practice of sin and foolishness. David chooses to meditate and guard his heart and mind in the obedience to the commandments of Moses and study the precepts and instruction. This wisdom helps us understand that the worship of GOD Almighty helps us persevere with favor and blessings while the practice of sin and idol worship leads to difficulties, vices, and destruction when there is no repentance of sin. We must keep the commandments of Moses in our heart and mind and also love GOD Almighty with all our heart, mind, and being. This is going to help us persevere in the path of eternal salvation without believing temporary lies, deceit, and false philosophies of hate and lust.

"Your testimonies are my delight; they are my counselors."- Psalm 119: 24

By worshiping GOD Almighty with all our heart, mind, being, and virtues, we are able to persevere with a jubilant heart and gladness. This describes being able to delight in the worship of GOD Almighty instead of having bitterness and envy. We can persevere having gratitude to GOD Almighty for helping us persist with virtues and true joy. We do not have envy, resentments, bitterness, nor coveting that wants to lead astray to the practice of idol worship and vices. We can understand the importance of insight and wisdom instead of practicing foolishness and envy. We choose to persist with positive emotions instead of negative emotions.

David also instructs how obedience to the commandments and testimonies of GOD Almighty found in Scripture are counselors to David in the manner that he is able to develop insight, knowledge, righteousness, and wisdom. We are able to understand how David can persevere despite the adversities that he goes through. Instead of being discouraged, David is encouraged and motivated in the worship of GOD Almighty.  David trusts in the counsel and wisdom of GOD Almighty being able to practice righteousness and fidelity to GOD Almighty and denying the practice of sin and idol worship. We learn that David does not have negative emotions despite circumstances and perseveres with a jubilant heart in the worship of GOD Almighty.

"When I told of my paths, you answered me; teach me your statutes!"- Psalm 119: 26

David recognizes that GOD Almighty listens to the prayers of the faithful and sincere and is able to judge with righteousness, justice, equity, and equality. David knows that GOD Almighty is aware of each individual's decisions even before they are in the womb and even before they are born. GOD Almighty knows the intentions of each individual even before they make a decision even before the individual is created. GOD Almighty knows everything about each individual and even created beings even before the beginning of creation, for all time, and for all eternity. David understands that he can trust in GOD Almighty because GOD Almighty gives favor and blessings to the righteous in great times or not the greatest of times. David understands that the instruction of the commandments of Moses allows him to develop wisdom, insight, counsel, and understanding. David improves in virtues instead of practicing sin. We can persevere trusting GOD Almighty and loving GOD Almighty above everything with sincerity of heart by obeying the commandments of Moses.
