Persevering in the Path of Life Obeying the Commandments of Moses

Persevering in the Path of Life Obeying the Commandments of Moses

Positive Christianity Series Episode #176

David helps us understand that we can persevere trusting in GOD Almighty above everything in this life. David instructs the worship of GOD Almighty and describes the need to not partake in idol worship. David never practiced idol worship throughout his life. David describes in the Psalms about the importance of worshiping GOD Almighty above everything. David describes the need of loving GOD Almighty above everything including finite temporary material wealth. Psalm 119 describes the wisdom of persevering with fidelity to GOD Almighty. We learn that the obedience to the commandments of Moses helps us persevere in the path of life with zeal, favor, health, blessings, salvation, eternal salvation, and virtues. We learn that this is because of the worship of GOD Almighty.

"Blessed are those whose path is blameless, who walk in the law of the LORD! Blessed are those who keep his testimonies, who seek him with their whole heart."- Psalm 119: 1-2

Obeying the commandments of Moses prevents us from walking in the road of destruction in the practice of sin, idolatry, adultery, and vices. By obeying the commandments of Moses, we are able to persevere with fidelity to GOD Almighty and guard ourselves from the practice of idol worship, adultery, envy, and coveting. We learn that we have favor and blessings in the worship of GOD Almighty being guarded from the deceit of the snake that wants to lead to the practice of idolatry and adultery so that individuals have difficulties, stagnation, vices, and destruction when there is no repentance of sin seen in Pharaoh, Balaam, Balaak, the wicked in the times of Lot, the wicked in the times of Noah, Ahab and Jezebel, Jehoram and Athalia, Herod, and the idolatrous Pharisees and Saducees

We learn that instead of having increased difficulties, stagnation, and vices that lead to destruction, we are able to persevere with resiliency similar to Moses who was more than a hundred years of age and still led in the desert defeating five idolatrous and hostile nations. We can persevere similar to Joshua who was young yet learned from Moses instead of listening to the temporary lies and deceit of Korah's rebellion. Joshua was able to judge the wicked idolators who destroyed their own newborns and helped obtain the land of Canaan that became the land of Israel. We can persevere similar to David who was able to destroy Goliath decisively and persevered amidst persecution from Saul's envy and gangstalking. Despite the persecution and envy of evil, we can persevere with favor and blessings being able to persist with fidelity to GOD Almighty, wisdom, responsibility, long life, salvation, eternal salvation, health, and virtues that can keep increasing to Shabbath Millennium and for all eternity in New Jerusalem.

"In your steadfast love give me life, that I may keep the testimonies of your mouth."- Psalm 119: 88

Choosing to love GOD Almighty above everything helps us persevere obeying the commandments of Moses and being far apart from the practice of vices such as slothfulness, lust, greed, intemperance, arrogance, anger, envy, and coveting that does not help anyone. We learn that when we decide to love GOD Almighty above everything, we are able to persist with resiliency that prevents us from being discouraged by the attempts of the snake to believe temporary lies and deceit. GOD Almighty does not forsake the righteous who choose GOD Almighty above finite temporary wealth, "relationships" that want to lead to idolatry, and idol worship. We learn that GOD Almighty helped Moses persevere to long life despite the opposition of Pharaoh, five idolatrous and hostile nations, the grumblers and idolators who questioned Moses' authority, and Korah's rebellion. We learn that while there may be opposition and persecution from the envy of the snake, GOD Almighty helps us persevere with unchanging fidelity. Moses lived to one hundred and twenty years despite the persecution and envy. The worship of GOD Almighty helps us have life in obedience to the commandments of Moses and confessing King Jesus Christ Eternal LORD and Savior. Joshua learned from Moses and did not listen to the grumblers and idolators and instead received favor, authority, blessings, and long life. David was able to trust in the eternal and infinite steadfast filial love of GOD Almighty,  and GOD Almighty did not forsake David amidst gangstalking, persecution, and opposition
