We learn to appreciate that we improve in virtues in the worship of GOD Almighty and are far apart from the temptations, falsehoods, and deceit that evil attempts to say to lead to the road of perdition. "When I think of your rules from of old, I take comfort, O LORD."- Psalm 119: 52
David describes that the Mosaic law allows us to persist in the path of eternal salvation worshiping GOD Almighty above everything. We learn that fidelity to GOD Almighty prevents discouragements and demotivation amidst slander, envy, and revilings from the false prophets. Even David who is considered a righteous example was hated and reviled by evildoers. We learn that even Moses was envied and reviled by false and rebellious individuals in Korah's rebellion. We learn that even when there may be persecution for righteousness' sake, we can persevere with boldness, zeal, courage, and humility that prevents discouragement. We know that causing discouragement is the intention of evil of trying to discourage individuals who have great zeal similar to Moses and David. Instead, we choose to ignore the discouragements and choose to worship the GOD of gods, GOD Almighty, above everything with sincerity of heart.
While persecution is not helpful, we learn to see the positive of everything. David was able to be grateful to the GOD of gods because David understood that persecution caused David to know that he could not be wicked, unjust, nor evil. David was able to keep integrity and know that wickedness does not help anyone. We know that foolishness and evil did not help Korah's rebellion that was comprised of 250 rebellious false and wicked individuals that rebelled against Moses and were swallowed up by the earth, fire fell and consumed the remaining wicked, and whatever was leftover of the wicked was destroyed by the plague. We learn that wickedness and foolishness did not help Saul, Abner, Ish-bosheth, and the men of Saul because they were destroyed and did not persist. We learn that Moses persevered trusting in GOD Almighty amidst persecution and envy. David was also able to persevere amidst persecution due to the envy of evil. We are able to be comforted knowing that GOD Almighty is aware of everything and is able to help the righteous faithful Christians persevere while the wicked are destroyed. We can persevere knowing that there is favor and blessings described being long life, health, courage, responsibility, integrity, salvation, and eternal salvation in the worship of GOD Almighty.
