"The LORD is my portion; I promise to keep your words."- Psalm 119: 57
David describes that the LORD GOD Almighty is everything to David. We learn that this wisdom allows David to persevere despite the adversities and difficulties that he goes through. David does not trust temporary material wealth, "relationships" (David does not trust Saul nor Saul's daughter, Michal) nor idol worship, and yet perseveres through everything including gangstalking and opposition from Saul, Abner, Ish-bosheth, Hanun, and Hadadezer. GOD Almighty sees the intentions of the heart and mind of David and does not forsake David amidst circumstances.
"I entreat your favor with all my heart; be gracious to me according to your promise."- Psalm 119: 58
We learn that David goes to prayer and is strengthened by GOD Almighty. David is strengthened in the worship of GOD Almighty amidst difficulties and adversities. We learn that David loves GOD Almighty above everything and is rescued from the envy, persecution, and obstacles. While there was opposition against David for being righteous and just, GOD Almighty uses everything for good. David's unchanging fidelity to GOD Almighty results in David being strengthened and prospered amidst everything. David is favored and blessed for choosing GOD Almighty over the temporary things of the world. GOD Almighty's promises of favor and blessings are eternal and are described in the writings of Moses. We learn that if an individual decides to obey the commandments of Moses with sincerity of heart, the righteous and faithful individual receives favor and blessings. If individuals do not obey the commandments of Moses, meaning hating GOD Almighty and hating humanity, there is substantial difficulties, vices, and destruction for the unrepentant wicked.
GOD Almighty is eternally faithful to His words and does not forsake David amidst persecution and hostilities. David obtains favor and blessings in the worship of GOD Almighty being able to receive authority, dominion, long life, health, power, serenity, perseverance, and most important of all keeping fidelity to GOD Almighty. We learn that nothing was able to discourage or demotivate David because of his unchanging devotion to the GOD of gods. We learn that motivation is also from GOD Almighty seeing how David was strengthened in the worship of GOD Almighty while the idolatrous were weakened in the practice of idol worship or self-worship. This wisdom describes that we can persevere worshiping GOD Almighty and never practice idolatry similar to David.
