 Persevering With Fidelity to the GOD of gods With Favor and Blessings

        Positive Christianity Series Episode #192

Throughout the Psalms of David, we are able to understand the importance of fidelity to the worship of GOD Almighty. We learn that David worships the name of GOD Almighty and keeps the name of GOD Almighty in his heart and mind along with the obedience to the commandments of Moses. We learn to worship the LORD GOD Almighty. We know that GOD Almighty is the GOD of gods and there is no other. We learn to persevere obeying the commandments of Moses because we know that idolatry does not help anyone. 

"I remember your name in the night, O LORD, and keep your law."- Psalm 119: 55

We know that the name of the LORD is JAH in Hebrew. We learn that when we praise GOD Almighty in Hebrew we say Hallelu JAH! The meaning of Hallelu JAH means praised be the LORD or praise the LORD! We learn to worship GOD Almighty. There are false religions that do no want the name of GOD Almighty worshiped and describe that the name of JAH should not be worshiped. We can know the difference and choose to worship the GOD of gods, GOD Almighty. False religions try to prevent individuals from worshiping the LORD because there are statutes in Scripture that speak about not saying the names of false idols because there should be no idol worship. The idolators due to resentment do not want the name of the LORD worshiped. 

"This blessing has fallen to me, that I have kept your precepts."- Psalm 119: 56

David also obeys the commandments of Moses or the Mosaic law. We learn to worship the name of the LORD and obey the commandments of Moses with sincerity of heart. We know that we obtain favor and blessings when we choose to worship GOD Almighty above everything. We learn to persevere with unchanging devotion and fidelity to GOD Almighty. David acknowledges that worshiping GOD Almighty with all our heart, mind, and being allows us to persevere with favor and blessings. David was able to persevere with long life, authority, integrity, motivation, health, gladness, and fidelity to GOD Almighty. 

We can recognize that even amidst persecution, we are able to persevere with favor and blessings. David was able to persevere with his sincere and unchanging devotion to GOD Almighty. We learn that the writings of Moses describe the blessings that exist for the righteous who worship GOD Almighty and obey the commandments of Moses. We are able to see the favor and blessings that exist for the righteous in the story of Moses. We learn that Moses lives to long life 120 years, frees Israel from Egypt with marvellous signs and wonders, leads with authority in the desert, has basic necessities met, instructs the wisdom of the commandments, has power to defeat five idolatrous and hostile nations, displays boldness to worship GOD Almighty, keeps humility and gratitude that prevents him from believing the temporary lies of temptation of Balaam, has zeal to persevere without disbelief, and most important of all, fidelity, to GOD Almighty.
