The Story of Job Describes the Favor and Blessings That Exist in the Worship of GOD Almighty

Positive Christianity Series Episode #199

We learn that the story of David described that we are able to persevere despite the persecution of the envy of evil. We learn that the Parable of the Sower describes that we can persist in the worship of GOD Almighty even through temptation and persecution. The story of Job is another story that describes the need to worship GOD Almighty above everything including temporary material resources, relationships, and persevere amidst persecution. We learn that unlike the story of Solomon, the story of Job describes that we can prefer to worship GOD Almighty above wisdom, relationships, and temporary material wealth. We learn that Job never practices idolatry and perseveres to long life and eternal salvation in the worship of GOD Almighty.

"There was a man in the land of Uz whose name was Job, and that man was blameless and upright, one who feared GOD and turned away from evil."- Job 1: 1

We learn in the start of the story of Job how Job was righteous and loyal to GOD Almighty. Job worshiped GOD Almighty above everything and was favored and blessed. We learn that while Job had abundance of material resources, he did not allow the material resources to become idolatry. Job chose to worship GOD Almighty above the material resources. We learn in the story of Job that Job is wise and describes the need to persist in the worship of GOD Almighty. We learn in the Psalms, Proverbs, and Book of Job that the fear of the LORD is the beginning of wisdom. We learn that obeying the commandments of Moses is wisdom. We learn that hating evil is wisdom. We learn that Job did not practice iniquity nor idol worship.

We learn that in the story of Job, Job did not practice idolatry and was favored by GOD Almighty. We learn that Job had favor, blessings, family, abundance of material resources, and health. Job was described being favored and blessed by GOD Almighty and having the most abundance in the region where he lived in the east. Job obtained so much goodness for worshiping GOD Almighty with sincerity of heart and not practicing iniquity. Because Job placed his trust in GOD Almighty, GOD Almighty favored and blessed Job with so much goodness. While having abundance of material resources, Job used his resources to worship GOD Almighty instead of worshiping the material resources

"There were born to him seven sons and three daughters. He possessed 7,000 sheep, 3,000 camels, 500 yoke of oxen, and 500 female donkeys, and very many servants, so that this man was the greatest of all the people of the east."- Job 1: 2-3

We learn that the favor and blessings did not change Job, and Job kept worshiping GOD Almighty above everything. We learn that the story of Job instructs us that it is possible to worship GOD Almighty with unchanging fidelity above material resources, relationships, and even virtues. We learn that GOD Almighty is the source of virtues and favor so we worship GOD Almighty instead of practicing idol worship and self-worship that is idolatry. We learn that the favor and blessings of Job caused the envy of the accuser. We learn that GOD Almighty did not intend harm on Job and that it was the accuser that hated Job because of his unchanging devotion to GOD Almighty and the favor and blessings that Job obtained. We learn that the accuser is who has envy and persecutes Job without reason. This wisdom allows us to know that GOD Almighty loves us and helps us persevere while the accuser hates zealousness and fidelity to GOD Almighty. The story of Job helps us know that we can not believe anything the accuser says because the accuser speaks temporary lies and has envy when individuals improve in virtues and favor seen in the story of Job. Despite envy from the snake, Job perseveres worshiping GOD Almighty above everything
