Denying Temptations (Iniquity/Crime)

 Denying Temptations (Iniquity/Crime)

Positive Christianity Series Episode #216

The Sacred Scriptures describe that we can persevere in the worship of GOD Almighty obeying the commandments of Moses. We do not need to practice sin nor idol worship in order to persevere. The snake attempts to tell temporary lies that it is necessary to practice sin and idol worship to survive. We know that we do not need to listen to and much less believe the temporary lies of the snake. The Sacred Scriptures describe that there are righteous individuals that persevered without ever needing to practice sin and idol worship. We learn that sin stagnates and decreases an individual to have vices while the worship of GOD Almighty improves and helps an individual grow in virtues.

"Treasures gained by wickedness do not profit, but righteousness delivers from death."- Proverbs 10: 2

We learn that the snake speaks temporary lies to try to get individuals to practice sin and idol worship. We know that the temptations that may include fame, fortune, and false "relationships" are to try to lead to the practice of sin and idol worship. We know that the snake does not say this from the beginning and instead lies about how practicing sin and idol worship helps an individual. Instead, the practice of sin and idol worship lead to the stagnation, diminishment, and destruction of the individual if there is no repentance of sin. The snake states temporary lies because the temptations are false and meant to lead to sin, idol worship, and vices. Sin wants to lead to the practice of iniquity and the practice of grave sin that leads to the destruction of the wicked.

"The fear of the LORD prolongs life, but the years of the wicked will be short."- Proverbs 10: 27

There are stories of individuals who were wicked in modern times who were destroyed because of their iniquity. We learn that there are stories of wicked individuals that were destroyed due to the practice of sin and iniquity. While the Howard Hughes' films attempted to show that crime helps an individual have specific things, we learn that the Howard Hughes' films spoke lies. Howard Hughes' films do not speak truth about how the practice of sin and wickedness leads to destruction. There are stories of wicked individuals who were destroyed because of the practice of iniquity at a relatively young age. Billy the Kid was an individual that was an outlaw and had anger issues. Billy the Kid was a murderer who was destroyed for his iniquity. Billy the Kid was shot down by a sheriff and was destroyed for his wickedness. There are other stories including the story of Pablo Escobar who was a drug trafficker in Colombia and also practiced iniquity. Pablo Escobar made millions off of cocaine drug trafficking yet also would place and detonate bombs in Colombia in order to consolidate the illusion of "power". Pablo Escobar would be destroyed for his evil and was shot down by law enforcement agents in a roof top when attempting to flee capture by opening gun fire. (The FBI was said to be involved yet there are also stories of the FBI doing unlawful things such as not wanting to go against organized crime in the 1960's, slandering MLK calling him a communist, and the wiretapping of the Democrat's offices in the 1970's among others things.) There was also the story of Al Capone who was a drug trafficker, practiced iniquity, and also was a notorious criminal. Al Capone was arrested and developed a disease that led to his destruction at a young age. We learn that iniquity leads to the destruction of the wicked.

We learn that we can not covet nor envy because GOD Almighty provides our basic necessities and allows us to persevere in the path of eternal salvation. We learn that we can persevere with zeal and fidelity to GOD Almighty to live in Shabbath Millennium and New Jerusalem. We can deny temptations knowing that the temptations are based on temporary lies and want to lead to sin and idol worship. We can keep our trust in GOD Almighty and not believe the temporary lies of the snake.
