Instead of practicing idol worship or self-worship, we choose to worship GOD Almighty above the temporary things of the world.
"Say to wisdom, 'You are my sister,' and call insight your intimite friend, to keep you from the forbidden woman, from the adultress with her smooth words."- Proverbs 7: 4-5

The Proverbs describe how we should obey the commandments of Moses and keep far from foolishness and adultery. We learn that the snake wants to lead to foolishness so that idol worship and sin is practiced instead. We learn that disobedience to the commandments of Moses is folly. Folly is the absence of wisdom. We learn that folly attempts to lead to vices, stagnation, difficulties, and destruction to the unrepentant wicked. Instead of listening to the temporary lies of the snake, we choose to worship and love GOD Almighty above everything. We learn that in the worship of GOD Almighty, we have everything that we need. We have our basic necessities and we are able to increase in virtues including humility, zeal, courage, authority, dominion, power, and the most important of all, fidelity.
"The woman folly is loud; she is seductive and knows nothing."- Proverbs 9: 13
We learn that we should choose wisdom obeying the commandments of Moses instead of foolishness disobeying the commandments of Moses. We learn that having wisdom prevents the practice of foolishness. Wisdom is described being similar to a sister and insight being similar to a close friend. We learn that folly is described being loud, tempting, and knowing nothing. This is because folly wants to lead to the practice of sin and idol worship. Foolishness wants to introduce vices so that individuals are arrogant, envious, resentful, bitter, covetous, have disbelief, are cowards, practice fornication, adultery, and homosexuality, are stingy, hypocrites, and practice sin. This wisdom helps us know that we do not need to listen to and much less believe the temporary lies of the snake that tries to tempt to the practice of sin and idol worship. We learn that foolishness wants to lead to the disobedience to the commandments of Moses and stagnation in having vices. Instead we prefer wisdom and fidelity to GOD Almighty. We learn that folly is a vice that is not needed and can be removed by practicing wisdom and fidelity to GOD Almighty. We can instead choose to worship GOD Almighty above everything and this wisdom prevents the practice of folly and idolatry.
