Avoiding False Prophets and Idolators

 Avoiding False Prophets and Idolators

Positive Christianity Series Episode #229

Paul describes the need to avoid false prophets and idolators who want to lead to sin and idol worship. GOD Almighty does not want us to partake with sin and wickedness because it leads to the destruction of the unrepentant wicked. We learn to persevere with virtues instead that allow us to appreciate and acknowledge the favor and blessings that we have in the worship of GOD Almighty. We learn to distinguish between the things that help us persevere in the path of eternal salvation from the things that want to lead to envy, anger, discouragements, and idol worship. We learn that GOD Almighty wants us to separate ourselves from the wicked who only want to practice sin and idol worship. Instead, we choose to worship GOD Almighty and avoid idolators, adulterers, adultresses, and false apostles.

"Do not be unequally yoked with unbelievers. For what partnership has righteousness with lawlessness? Or what fellowship has light with darkness? What accord has Christ with Belial?"- 2 Corinthians 6: 14-15

Paul describes that if we are righteous, we do not have to be unequally yoked with unbelievers.  This is because idolators want to lead farther and farther from the worship of the GOD of gods, GOD Almighty. Idolators do not try to help others and instead want to lead individuals to the practice of sin and idol worship that is darkness and captivity. King Jesus Christ has already set us free from darkness, captivity, and sin. We learn to acknowledge the importance of having autonomy and freedom from sin and the consequences of practicing sin and idol worship, that describe living in darkness, captivity, lack of freedom, and the road of destruction when there is no repentance of sin. King Jesus Christ allows us to be free from idol worship that wants to introduce chains that are actually vices. Instead of vices, King Jesus Christ frees us so that we improve ourselves with virtues. We need to avoid idolators and false apostles who are actually trying to lead far from the worship of GOD Almighty to idol worship and captivity.

"Or what portion does a believer share with an unbeliever? What agreement has the temple of GOD with idols?"- 2 Corinthians 6: 15-16

We learn that only King Jesus Christ gives us autonomy to be self-disciplined and remove vices from our lives. We learn to acknowledge the importance of King Jesus Christ who helps us persevere when we go to prayer and also decide to obey the commandments of Moses with sincerity of heart. We learn that idolators are not trying to help others, so then we must avoid idolators who live in darkness and captivity. This is because they want to lead others to idol worship, darkness, and captivity. The light can not partake with the darkness similar to how obedience to GOD Almighty can not partake with disobedience. When we have virtues, we appreciate our virtues knowing that fidelity to GOD Almighty is the reason we can improve each day. If we have virtues, we do not want to have vices. If individuals had virtues in the past and began to practice idol worship, the virtues decline and are replaced by vices instead. Wicked individuals decline with the practice of sin and idol worship. We learn to be far apart from idolators and false prophets who do not speak truth and have envy.

We learn that we have eternal salvation in King Jesus Christ and also autonomy. We have freedom to persevere preaching truth and being far apart from captivity and the chains of idol worship. We learn that only in the worship of GOD Almighty do we improve ourselves, develop virtues, practice gratitude, and have eternal salvation. We learn that we value freedom and do not want to know anything about idol worship and folly. We are able to acknowledge the importance of autonomy of being able to decide to choose to worship GOD Almighty above everything and know that there is favor and blessings in the worship of GOD Almighty. We do not want difficulties, vices, stagnation, and destruction in the practice of idol worship. We learn that believers have nothing in common with unbelievers because we are free and saved in King Jesus Christ.
