Persevering With Self-Confidence in the Worship of GOD Almighty

Persevering With Self-Confidence in the Worship of GOD Almighty

Positive Christianity Series Episode #227

GOD Almighty tells us in the Sacred Scriptures that we can be encouraged. GOD Almighty wants us to go to Scripture to be motivated. This is so that we remind ourselves of the eternal truth instead of the temporary lies of the snake. We do not need to be discouraged by the deception and temporary lies of the snake. We learn in the story of Moses that he did not have confidence in himself yet trusted in GOD Almighty. We learn that he was doubted by an individual who questioned who made Moses judge? We learn that Moses had doubts in his self-confidence but did not doubt GOD Almighty. We learn that we do not have to doubt GOD Almighty, and GOD Almighty helps us have self-confidence in the worship of GOD Almighty. We learn that GOD Almighty gave Moses authority and allowed Moses to free Israel from Egypt.

"And now, behold, the cry of the people of Israel has to come to me, and I have also seen the oppression with which the Egyptians oppress them. Come, I will send you to Pharaoh that you may bring my people, the children of Israel, out of Egypt.' But Moses said to GOD, 'Who am I that I should go to Pharaoh and bring the children of Israel out of Egypt?' He said, 'But I will be with you, and this will be the sign for you, that I have sent you: when you have brought the people out of Egypt, you shall serve GOD on this mountain.'"- Exodus 3: 9-12

We learn that Moses doubted himself, yet did not doubt GOD Almighty. We learn that the snake probably attempted to discourage Moses, yet Moses persevered trusting in GOD Almighty. We learn that GOD Almighty tells Moses that he did not have to doubt himself by allowing Moses to make marvellous signs and wonders of turning his staff into a snake and back to a staff, making leprosy, and turning the Nile to blood (Exodus 4: 1-9). GOD Almighty also told Moses that he would be able to speak well when Moses doubted his eloquence in speaking. GOD Almighty is with Moses and allows him to persevere so that he has self-confidence and accomplishes the purpose of GOD Almighty. Moses is able to free Israel from Egypt and allows us to know that GOD Almighty answers prayers and helps us have self-confidence. Moses is given encouragement by GOD Almighty allowing us to know that in the worship of GOD Almighty we have everything that we need. We do not need to be perfect, but we can trust in the perfect GOD Almighty who helps us persevere.

"But Moses said to the LORD, 'Oh, my LORD, I am not eloquent, either in the past or since you have spoken to your servant, but I am slow of speech and of tongue.' Then the LORD said to him, 'Who has made man's mouth? Who makes him mute, or deaf, or seeing, or blind? Is it not I, the LORD? Now therefore go, and I will be with your mouth and teach you what you shall speak.'"- Exodus 4: 10-12

We learn that GOD Almighty's promises are true seen throughout Scripture in the lives of Abraham and Sarah, Lot, and Moses. Israel was freed from the oppression of Egypt. We learn that Moses is able to return to Mount Sinai after freeing the people and describes the manner that GOD Almighty speaks truth. We learn that the snake attempts to discourage us when we decide to worship GOD Almighty with humility and zeal, yet we must trust in GOD Almighty over everything. Instead of being discouraged, we can develop perseverance and resiliency in the worship of GOD Almighty. We can choose to trust in the promises of GOD Almighty instead of hearing and much less believing the discouragements of the snake.

We learn that Moses was able to accomplish marvellous signs and wonders prior to freeing Israel from Egypt. Moses was also able to speak with eloquence and authority and brought Israel out of Egypt. This describes the power of GOD Almighty to help us persevere even when we might not think that we have everything. GOD Almighty does not need us to be perfect, yet we can improve each day to be better. Only in the worship of GOD Almighty do we improve each day. Moses obtained self-confidence and persevered in the worship of GOD Almighty. We learn that Moses was able to divide the Red Sea in half with the help of GOD Almighty. We learn from the story of Moses that we can get self-confidence in the worship of GOD Almighty that we do not have to doubt GOD Almighty nor ourselves. We learn that the accuser hates that people develop self-confidence in the worship of GOD Almighty and attempts to discourage to decrease self-confidence and our zeal for the worship of GOD Almighty. Instead of believing the temporary lies of the snake, we trust in the Eternal GOD of gods and Creator of the Heavens and the earth instead of the discouragements of the snake. We learn that not even the Egyptian magicians could replicate the marvellous signs and wonders of Moses. We should persevere trusting in GOD Almighty.
