Persevering With Self-Confidence Trusting in GOD Almighty

Positive Christianity Series Episode #228

GOD Almighty helps us persevere with self-confidence trusting in GOD Almighty. We learn that GOD Almighty does not forsake us nor leave us. GOD Almighty gives us eternal purpose and meaning in the worship of GOD Almighty. Jeremiah is given significance and meaning even before he is born. We learn that Jeremiah is able to persevere in the worship of GOD Almighty having meaning and purpose preaching. We learn that Jeremiah is a prophet just how GOD Almighty had decided. We learn that in the worship of GOD Almighty, we have self-confidence and eternal purpose.

"Now the word of the LORD came to me, saying, 'Before I formed you in the womb I knew you, and before you were born I consecrated you; I appointed you a prophet to the nations.' Then I said, 'Ah, Oh LORD! Behold, I do not know how to speak, for I am only a youth."- Jeremiah 1: 4-6

GOD Almighty tells Jeremiah that before he was formed in the womb, Jeremiah was known by GOD Almighty having purpose being a prophet. GOD Almighty knows who we are even before we are born. We learn that GOD Almighty creates us with eternal meaning and purpose. This wisdom allows us to persevere worshiping GOD Almighty. We learn that Jeremiah is able to be a prophet and accomplish the purpose of GOD Almighty of preaching repentance of sin to Israel and judging the nations. We learn that GOD Almighty knows who we are even before we are born. We can trust in GOD Almighty who knows everything for all time and all eternity. Even when Jeremiah doubts that he can speak, GOD Almighty gives confidence to Jeremiah. GOD Almighty tells Jeremiah that he was not only a youth and that GOD Almighty is with Jeremiah. We learn that Jeremiah trusts in GOD Almighty and is able to persevere preaching truth. We learn that Jeremiah trusts in GOD Almighty and is able to preach repentance of sin.

"But the LORD said to me, 'Do not say, I am only a youth; for to all to whom I send you, you shall go, and whatever I command you, you shall speak. Do not be afraid of them, for I am with you to deliver you, declares the LORD.'"- Jeremiah 1: 7-8

We learn that Jeremiah does not have self-confidence because he is a youth, yet GOD Almighty is with Jeremiah so that he can speak truth. Jeremiah obtains self-confidence in the worship of GOD Almighty. We learn that when we decide to worship GOD Almighty over everything, we are able to persevere. We learn that age is not a factor because GOD Almighty is our strength and might. While Jeremiah was young, Jeremiah was able to preach. While Moses was 115 years, he was able to guide in the desert defeating idolatrous hostile nations. We learn that GOD Almighty allows us to persevere being our strength and might. If GOD Almighty is all we have, GOD Almighty is all we need. GOD Almighty allows us to have self-confidence to persevere worshiping GOD Almighty. We learn that Jeremiah trusts in GOD Almighty and is able to persist amidst opposition, envy, and persecution. Jeremiah is able to preach with boldness and courage, and GOD Almighty delivers Jeremiah from the adversaries and persecution.

GOD Almighty guards us and does not forsake us. Jeremiah is able to preach repentance of sin and prosper despite opposition, adversity, and envy. Jeremiah obtains deliverance from the destruction because he decided to keep obeying GOD Almighty. We learn that GOD Almighty's words are true, and GOD Almighty does not forsake Jeremiah to the false prophets, idolators, and wicked. While Jeremiah was only one person, we learn that he was able to preach regardless of intimidation, envy, and persecution. Jeremiah was able to convert two individuals to Christianity while enduring persecution from idolators (we do not have to convert anyone, yet we do have to preach. It is impressive that Jeremiah was able to convert two individuals despite much opposition.) and survived the destruction of the idolatrous wicked who did not repent of sin and kept persecuting Jeremiah. GOD Almighty saved Jeremiah from destruction and was not harmed by the Chaldeans. We learn that while Jeremiah was a youth, he was able to accomplish the purpose of GOD Almighty preaching obedience to GOD Almighty and the need to forsake sin. We can persevere with zeal and avoid the temporary lies of the snake that wants to discourage us saying that individuals need to practice sin and idol worship to survive. We learn that instead Jeremiah worshiped GOD Almighty and not only survived, but even prospered amidst persecution from wicked idolators. GOD Almighty does not forsake us like He did not forsake Jeremiah. Jeremiah persevered and obtained eternal salvation.
