 Persevering in the Path of Salvation

The Scriptures remind us that accepting reproof and correction allows us to obey the commandments of Moses and persist in the path of life. GOD Almighty instructs us on the need to develop righteousness and wisdom so that we do not practice sin and folly. When we worship GOD Almighty above everything, we begin to see the truth and understand that wisdom is to be preferred to the practice of sin. We can improve ourselves in the path of eternal salvation preaching King Jesus Christ instead of being in the path of perdition in the practice of sin and folly.

"The ear that listens to life-giving reproof will dwell among the wise."- Proverbs 15: 31

When we go to the Scriptures, we can remind ourselves that we can not be in the path of perdition. We can choose to avoid the practice of sin and remove vices from our lives. The instruction of Scripture is life giving reproof that helps us develop insight, wisdom, prudence, and sound judgment that prevents us from thinking that practicing sin and idol worship can help. Instead we learn that the practice of sin and idol worship leads to stagnation, difficulties, vices, and destruction of the unrepentant wicked. 

"Whoever ignores the instruction despises himself, but he who listens to reproof gains intelligence."-Proverbs 15: 32

By deciding to listen to GOD Almighty's words in Scripture and worshiping GOD Almighty above everything, we are able to increase in intelligence, wisdom, righteousness, and fidelity to the GOD of gods, GOD Almighty. By deciding to worship and obey GOD Almighty, we are able to also care about ourselves. Those who despise the correction and reproof from Scripture harm and despise themselves. We can choose to improve and care about ourselves by worshiping GOD Almighty instead of being foolish. 

We learn that by obeying the commandments of Moses and accepting instruction and reproof, we care about ourselves. By choosing to worship GOD Almighty above everything, we can increase in wisdom and intelligence. There are studies that prove that intelligence can actually keep increasing and is not fixed based on genetics as other studies have attempted to prove. (There are racist theories that state that intelligence is fixed based on genetics only and is false.) Wisdom can keep increasing in the worship of GOD Almighty, but intelligence can also keep improving by learning and being ethical. Intelligence can also improve in the worship of GOD Almighty. That is why idolatry does not want individuals learning after twenty years of age because people can actually improve themselves by being self-didactic and ethical.
