Persevering With Fidelity to GOD Almighty in Psalm 91

Persevering With Fidelity to GOD Almighty in Psalm 91

Positive Christianity Series Episode #259

GOD Almighty tells us that we do not have to worry nor have preoccupations because GOD Almighty helps us persevere in the path of eternal salvation. GOD Almighty is our refuge, strength, shield, and sanctuary. When we place our trust in GOD Almighty over everything of this temporary imperfect world, we are able to improve and be guarded from temptations, persecution, and the envy of the snake. GOD Almighty is superior and greater to the opposition.

"He who dwells in the shelter of the Most High will abide in the shadow of the Almighty."- Psalm 91: 1

GOD Almighty is an eternal shield to the righteous who choose to trust in GOD Almighty. GOD Almighty does not forsake us nor leave us and instead guards from deception, temporary lies, and the practice of idol worship. We learn that Abraham and Sarah were never forsaken by GOD Almighty. The greatest blessing given to Abraham and Sarah was that GOD Almighty would be the GOD of Abraham and Sarah and Abraham's and Sarah's eternal descendants.

"I will say to the LORD, 'My refuge and my fortress, my GOD, in whom I trust.'"- Psalm 91: 2

GOD Almighty guards Abraham's and Sarah's eternal descendants seen in how they take the land of Canaan in the times of Joshua after being guided by Moses. We learn that Moses and the righteous are never forsaken by GOD Almighty in Egypt nor in the wilderness. We learn that GOD Almighty takes Israel out of Egypt and guides them in the desert so that they improve and are able to take the land of Canaan that became the land of Israel. GOD Almighty speaks truth to Abraham and Sarah. We learn that we can trust in GOD Almighty guarding us similar to how He guarded Abraham and Sarah, Moses and the righteous of Israel, and Joshua.

The righteous of Israel who made GOD Almighty their refuge persevered with favor and blessings and obtained the Promised Land in the times of Joshua. Joshua decided to obey GOD Almighty and Moses and doubted the temporary lies of Korah's rebellion. Joshua chose to make GOD Almighty his refuge and doubted the foolishness of Korah's rebellion. The envious and rebellious 250 false priests decided to rebel against GOD Almighty's authority given to Moses and were consumed when the earth opened up and swallowed the wicked, fire fell from the skies and destroyed the idolatrous, and the plague destroyed the remaining wicked that were leftover. We learn to trust in GOD Almighty instead of believing in the temporary lies of the snake that wants to lead far from the favor and blessings that exist in worshiping GOD Almighty above everything.
