Persevering With Fidelity to GOD Almighty in Psalm 91

Persevering With Fidelity to GOD Almighty in Psalm 91

Positive Christianity Series Episode #262

GOD Almighty reminds us that there is justice.  GOD Almighty judges with equity and egalitarianism. We learn that GOD Almighty is not authoritarian nor arbitrary and judges with righteousness. We learn that GOD Almighty does not accept bribes and is impartial. We learn that the eternal throne of GOD Almighty is established in righteousness and justice. While David was persecuted by the envy of Saul, David was saved from affliction and persecution.

"You will only look with your eyes and see the recompense of the wicked."- Psalm 91: 8

David was able to persevere after living in the land of the Philistines for 1 year and 4 months. GOD Almighty allowed David to prosper in Philistia living in serenity and harmony despite there being songs of David. We learn that Saul, Saul's soldiers, Doeg, and the wicked gangstalkers were destroyed for their iniquity and envy. While David prospered in Philistia, Saul was declining due to his disobedience, iniquity, and for consulting a sorceress.

"Because you have made the LORD your dwelling place- the Most High, who is my refuge- no evil shall be allowed to befall you, no plague come near your tent."- Psalm 91: 9-10

Despite being gangstalked, David prospered and persevered in the land of Philistia living in Ziklag. David did not practice idolatry and was able to worship GOD Almighty in Philistia. We can decide to trust in GOD Almighty's promises described in Psalm 91 seen in the life of David. We learn that GOD Almighty is aware of our lives and guards us from destruction, envy, and persecution. We can persevere worshiping GOD Almighty above everything of this imperfect temporary world knowing that GOD Almighty is our refuge and strength. If GOD Almighty is all we have, GOD Almighty is all we need. We learned that GOD Almighty endured persecution, yet was able to thrive and persist. The worship of GOD Almighty allows us to acknowledge that GOD Almighty is greater than everything including envy, opposition, and persecution.

We learn that in the worship of GOD Almighty,  we have everything that we need including being guarded from persecution, envy, and tribulation. If GOD Almighty is our shield and refuge, we have absolutely everything that we need to persevere in the path of eternal salvation described in Psalm 23. We can remind ourselves of the need to have gratitude to GOD Almighty everyday so that we can acknowledge how important GOD Almighty is in our day to day lives. We can persist developing resiliency and being motivated in the worship of GOD Almighty.
