GOD Almighty instructs us in the Scriptures about the need to not practice sin and disobedience. We are not supposed to practice lust, fornication, nor adultery because it wants to lead to grave sin and vices. This wisdom prevents us from being in the path of perdition. GOD Almighty guards us from sin and helps us persevere with obedience to the commandments of Moses.

"In the path of righteousness is life, and in its path there is no death."- Proverbs 12: 28

GOD Almighty instructs wisdom so that we can persevere in the path of life without the difficulties that exist in the practice of sin. Lust is a vice that does not want to stay at lust. Lust wants to lead to grave sin in fornication and adultery. Adultery then wants to lead to homosexuality. The practice of idolatry also wants to lead to adultery and homosexuality. Instead, we choose to persevere in the path of eternal salvation obeying the commandments of Moses and having dominion over lust the same manner that we have dominion over negative emotions.

"The teaching of the wise is a fountain of life, that one may turn away from the snares of death."- Proverbs 13: 14

The story of Freddie Mercury describes how the rock and roll lifestyle and the practice of lust want to lead to destruction. Freddie Mercury had the greatest voice of rock and roll yet used his talent for idol worship. Mercury was the lead singer of the rock band Queen that was the band of the 1980s. Mercury would gain fame and be the icon of rock and roll in the 80s. Mercury would live the rock and roll lifestyle and would have a lot of girlfriends. Despite having multiple girlfriends, Mercury would practice homosexuality. Mercury had relationships with men that led to disease. This describes that lust wants to lead to homosexual relationships and does not want to stay at lust.

The HIV epidemic started probably in the 1970s and was noted in the 1980s. The cause of HIV infections was noted to be homosexual relationships. This was after there was fornication and adultery in the 1970s that led to homosexuality. Freddie Mercury deloped HIV in the 1980s and would die from complications from the disease. It is noted that the HIV epidemic has increased over the decades due to polyamorous (adulterous) and homosexual relationships with a larger number of people infected with HIV. We can persevere removing lust from our lives and guard ourselves from STDs that have no cure.
