Persevering With Fidelity to GOD Almighty in Psalm 91

Persevering With Fidelity to GOD Almighty in Psalm 91

Positive Christianity Series Episode #265

GOD Almighty listens to our prayers and does not forsake us. We learn that David prayed to GOD Almighty when there were adversities, and GOD Almighty did not forsake David. GOD Almighty rescued David from adversity consistent with how GOD Almighty rescued Lot, Noah, Moses, the righteous of Israel, Joshua, Jehoida, and Jehoshebeath from the envy of the snake. We can persevere trusting in the eternal promises of GOD Almighty described in the Sacred Scriptures.

"When he calls to me, I will answer him; I will be with him in trouble; I will rescue him and honor him."- Psalm 91: 15

GOD Almighty is with the righteous and guards us from deceit, envy, and persecution. GOD Almighty rescued Moses and the righteous of Israel from Egypt and allowed them to persevere in the desert and obtain the land of Canaan that became the land of Israel. GOD Almighty gave Moses long life and lived to 120 years because of his righteousness, humility, devotion, and fidelity.

"With long life I will satisfy him and show him my salvation."- Psalm 91: 16

GOD Almighty favored and blessed Noah with 950 years of life. We learn that Noah was able to live for close to a millennium because of his righteousness and choosing to avoid the wicked idolators. GOD Almighty saved Noah from the historic flood that drowned the whole earth and the idolatrous wicked. Moses lived to 120 years. Abraham and Sarah lived to more than a 100 years of age. We learn that GOD Almighty favors and blesses the righteous with long life.

The righteous individuals are able to persevere in the worship of GOD Almighty with eternal salvation in King Jesus Christ and also favor and blessings. We learn that GOD Almighty gives favor and blessings to the righteous that are better than the temporary things of the imperfect world. GOD Almighty allows us to know that there are better things in the worship of GOD Almighty that prevents us from believing the temporary lies of the snake that says that fame, temporary material wealth, false idolatrous relationships, and the illusion of "power" are reasons to practice idol worship. Instead we believe King Jesus Christ and doubt the deception of the snake. We choose to practice integrity and worship GOD Almighty.
