GOD Almighty is Eternally Faithful Described in Psalm 94
Positive Christianity Series Episode #280
GOD Almighty allows us to understand in the Sacred Scriptures that although it appears that the wicked prosper in the short term, in the long term that is not the case. We learn that the wicked who persecuted the righteous are judged and destroyed by GOD Almighty for their envy, coveteousness, hate, anger, and disobedience to the commandments of Moses. We learn that the wicked receive consolation in the short term describing money and temporary material things but in the long term are destroyed for their envy. The wicked also have many difficulties including being deceived, have madness, have health problems, gluttony, intemperance, anger, hostilities, vices, and stagnation that idol worship never talks about.
"He who planted the ear, does he not hear? He who formed the eye, does he not see? He who disciplines the nations, does he not rebuke?"- Psalm 94: 9-10
We learn that when Ahab and Jezebel were afflicting and persecuting the righteous and Elijah, GOD Almighty judged Ahab and Jezebel. Some righteous prophets were martyred while other righteous prophets persevered including Elijah. We learn that Ahab and Jezebel also falsely accused, killed Naboth and his children, and stole his vineyard. Despite practicing idolatry, Ahab and Jezebel were judged by Jehu. GOD Almighty chose Jehu who was the commander of Ahab's army to destroy Ahab and Jezebel, their lineage, and the false prophets. Jehu wiped out idol worship in Israel at the command of GOD Almighty and became king of Israel.
"He who teaches man knowledge-the LORD- knows the thoughts of man that they are but a breath."- Psalm 94: 10-11
GOD Almighty knows everything for all time and for all eternity including the intentions, decisions, options, and actions of each individual for all time and for all eternity. While Ahab and Jezebel thought that they could get away with iniquity, they were destroyed by GOD Almighty who issues judgment and vengeance against the wicked. GOD Almighty judges when GOD Almighty decides and destroys wicked idolators who do not repent of sin.
Ahab and Jezebel are destroyed by their own envy and wickedness when GOD Almighty saved Jehoshaphat. GOD Almighty destroyed Ahab when Ahab is wounded by a soldier who shoots a random arrow and hurts Ahab between the breastplate and the scale armor. Jezebel is thrown down from the balcony and is trampled by horses, and Ahab's 70 children are destroyed by Jehu. We learn that the wicked are destroyed by GOD Almighty for having killed Naboth and his children. Jehu, the commander, is made king of Israel by GOD Almighty and issues judgment against deceit and wickedness. GOD Almighty is vengeance. We can persevere trusting in King Jesus Christ who takes the vengeance for us. We can persevere similar to Elijah, Jehoshaphat, and the righteous prophets knowing that eternal salvation in King Jesus Christ is most important to us. We can avoid false prophets and idolators similar to Jehoshaphat and choose to persevere being righteous.
