Salvation in King Jesus Christ
Salvation in King Jesus Christ
Positive Christianity Series Episode #311
David instructs us in the Psalms about the need to trust in our LORD and Savior. When David had adversity, he did not doubt the Maker of Heaven and earth. GOD Almighty delivered David from his adversity describing that he cares about his faithful Christians and does not forsake us. David grew mighty and wise keeping unchanging fidelity to GOD Almighty.
"May all who seek you rejoice and be glad in you!"- Psalm 70: 4
We can persevere glorifying GOD Almighty and paying attention to GOD Almighty's goodness instead of the discouragements of the snake. We learn that Noah was delivered from the envy of the idolatrous and adulterors who scoffed at the idea that a global flood could occur on earth. Despite there being giants of 12-14 feet, Noah trusted in GOD Almighty and survived the global flood that drowned the 12-14 foot giants and wicked idolators. (The giants were really tall but did not measure 5,280 feet. The flood drowned out the wicked.)
Joshua was able to enter the land of Canaan and judged the wicked idolators who practiced idol worship, adultery, and destroyed their newborns. Despite there being 12-14 foot giants in the times of Joshua, Joshua and the brave of Israel defeated the 7-9 idolatrous hostile nations includes the nation of the Anakim. Joshua heard that there were 12-14 foot giants and that the land was reinforced up to the skies, yet decided to trust in GOD Almighty. The cowards attempted to discourage Joshua, yet Joshua trusted in the Eternal GOD of gods. Joshua had bravery and fought against the wicked hostile nations with the bold faithful believers that took the land of Canaan that became the land of Israel.
"May those who love your salvation say evermore, 'GOD is great.'"- Psalm 70: 4
David would also face a giant in Goliath who was 12-14 feet. The giant, Goliath, was taller, had a large armor, a helmet, an armor bearer at his side, a sword, shield, a spear, was experienced in warfare, was a champion of the Philistines, and had the encouragement of the Philistines. Also David was not the tallest, strongest, eldest, did not have an armor bearer at his side, did not have an armor, helmet, sword, spear, bow and arrow, a shield, and not only did he not have the encouragement of his brothers, but was discouraged and envied for having bravery to face the giant no one wanted to face (not even Saul who had the responsibility to fight the enemies of Israel wanted to fight Goliath and the enemies of Israel). David however took his job seriously and destroyed a lion and a bear who had attempted to take one of his sheep. If David had destroyed a bear and a lion, what opposition was a giant to David. David took a rock and his slingshot and destroyed the giant. David had humility and unwavering zeal that made him distinct and unique. David had unchanging fidelity to GOD Almighty. David glorified GOD Almighty prior to fighting the giant, Goliath. David went against the 12-14 foot giant and slung a rock from the slingshot that lodged in the giant's forehead. The giant fell from the impact of the rock. David took the large sword from the giant and destroyed him while the giant's armor bearer fled. David conquered Goliath by worshiping GOD Almighty. David did not pay attention to the discouragements and instead payed attention to the promises of GOD Almighty to the eternal offspring of Abraham and Sarah. David glorified the Maker of Heaven and earth and persevered. David had courage instead of fear. We can persevere acknowledging that GOD Almighty is greater than the circumstances, opposition, and discouragements. The most important thing in this life is keeping fidelity to GOD Almighty and rejecting the lies of the snake. (When the discouragements of the snake try to decrease our faith, we increase our faith and fidelity to GOD Almighty. If the snake tries to discourage, it is because it already is discouraged. That is why we spend time with Scripture and prioritize the worship of GOD Almighty each day instead of listening to and reading the lies of the snake from discouraging socialists who want to foment negative emotions and deceit. The covid experimental "vaccines" told us the actual truth of how socialists attempt to deceive and only tell lies. Socialists are incapable of speaking truth. The vaccine is still being peddled after 5 years and even to the 6 month old demographic (Socialists are rat snakes). Socialists then began to persecute (foreign "wars" may actually not be actual wars and may be persecution) because no one wants an experimental "vaccine" developed in 9 months that causes side effects.) We can persevere with zealous faith despite the times that we live in. We can worship GOD Almighty and persevere with eternal salvation in King Jesus Christ. We conquer by accepting and preaching King Jesus Christ Eternal LORD and Savior. We can keep unchanging fidelity to GOD Almighty (Psalm 96: 2-3).
"For you, O LORD, are my hope, my trust, O LORD from my youth."- Psalm 71: 5
"Yet GOD my king is from of old, working salvation in the midst of the earth."- Psalm 74: 12
Learning Hebrew
Mahase, מהש, means refuge or sanctuary in Hebrew. David calls GOD Almighty his refuge, rock, sanctuary, and stronghold. David describes this in Psalm 18 and tells us that we can trust in the Eternal and Infinite GOD of gods. If we make GOD Almighty our refuge, then we can persevere through everything. We learn that David and Abiathar persevered by making GOD Almighty their refuge despite persecution from the envy of Saul. Despite Abiathar being persecuted for being righteous, he never forsook GOD Almighty. The righteous priests who were martyred by Saul, who had helped David, obtained eternal salvation refusing to help Saul. The righteous who were persecuted did not have to live during Saul's envy when he was persecuting David out of envy. We can see the positive in everything. If individuals are martyred, they get to be reunited with GOD Almighty, go to Heaven, and no longer have to be in this imperfect world. If we have to preach, we have to preach. We do not get discouraged. We learn that GOD Almighty helps us persevere and instead we can persist with happiness despite the times that we live in. King Jesus Christ is most important over the imperfect temporary things of the world. The Parable of the Sower instructs us that we can keep preaching despite persecution and lying temptations by making GOD Almighty our refuge. Paul persevered and also accomplished his purpose of preaching King Jesus Christ to the nations. Christianity has increased to Israel and the nations in the past 2,000 years and keeps being preached despite envy and persecution. We can persevere making GOD Almighty our refuge.
