Avoiding Idolatry and Adultery

 Avoiding Idolatry and Adultery

Positive Christianity Series Episode #319

GOD Almighty instructs us to avoid the path of perdition where there is envy, hate, division, conflict, and bitterness. Idolatry wants to lead to adultery, and adultery wants to lead to idolatry. We learn that there are amazing stories in Scripture of impressive individuals that decided to avoid the practice of idol worship and adultery. We learn that idolatry is not the source of happiness and adultery wants to lead to idol worship.

"My son, keep my words and treasure up my commandments with you; keep my commandments and live; keep my teaching as the apple of your eye."- Proverbs 7: 1-2

We learn that Paul was able to persevere renouncing Phariseeism for the truth in King Jesus Christ. Paul persevered preaching King Jesus Christ despite much adversity and obeyed the comandments of Moses. Because Paul was able to preach despite harrassment, opposition, and persecution, there was an idolatrous adultress who attempted to tempt Paul into the practice of idolatry and adultery. Paul preferred the worship of GOD Almighty to foolishness, bitterness, falsehood, idolatry, and adultery. Paul kept practicing wisdom and insight, accepting correction, and persisting with discipline. Paul avoided the loud and bitter adultress. Paul decided to persevere with humility and never returned to practice Phariseeism and denied adultery.

"Say to wisdom, 'You are my sister,' and call insight your intimate friend, to keep you from the forbidden woman, from the adultress with her smooth words."- Proverbs 7: 4-5

Paul was followed around by an adultress who was an idol worshiper who practiced idolatry in the pagan temples. Instead of Paul listening to the lies of the adultress, Paul decided to reject and avoid the adultress knowing that the intention was to lead to the practice of adultery and idol worship and stagnation. Paul did not get discouraged and persisted preaching Christianity. Paul did not get discouraged, and Christianity increased to the nations.

We learn that we can avoid idolatry and adultery by choosing to practice gratitude and unchanging fidelity to King Jesus Christ. We learn that Paul was able to have bravery and integrity knowing that adultery is used with the intention to lead to idolatry. Idolatry never states that adultery wants to lead to homosexuality, envy, bitterness, and resentments. Fornication and adultery lead to envy, hate, and anger instead of serenity. (Sex is only allowed in a marriage between a man and a woman in order to start a family and not for recreational use. Due to the not so good times that we are living in, it is better to wait for monogamous relationships in Shabbath Millennium where there is no more gangstalking.) Paul acknowledged that idol worship and adultery never helped anyone. Paul denied the adultress each and every time. Scripture does not say how many times he denied the adultress but he denied the adultress all the times that he needed to deny her (1 Corinthians 10: 13). Paul described that we can be unique and different and choose the worship of King Jesus Christ over lying temptations that only want to lead to idol worship, stagnation, and far away from the favor and blessings in the worship of GOD Almighty, the GOD of gods.

"The body is not meant for sexual immorality, but for the LORD, and the LORD for the body."- 1 Corinthians 6: 13

Learning Hebrew

Nepesh, נפש, means soul in Hebrew. We learn that the Scriptures describe that GOD Almighty creates each individual to be different and unique. We learn that each individual is composed of body, mind, and soul. An individual is more than a body, more than a mind, and is a soul. We learn that each person is created with meaning and purpose to worship GOD Almighty for all eternity in Shabbath Millennium and New Jerusalem. We learn that this wisdom allows us to practice genuine empathy and care about others instead of being envious and covetous. Socialism states that an individual is a body or something to be manipulated based on deceit, intimidation, or envy. We learn that socialism attempts to diminish an individual into only a machine. Cristianity looks to improve an individual into an eternal child of GOD Almighty who is similar to GOD Almighty in righteousness, justice, grace, and filial love. We learn that there is a big difference. We learn that socialism insults, slanders, and attempts to lead to bitterness. A human being is more than appearances and being truthful and sincere is greater than being fake and vain. (We have seen how cosmetic procedures have increased in the past decades and have even been marketed to adolescents (even to guys describing the not so good times that we live in.)) We learn that inner beauty is better than being fake and vain. True inner beauty that stems from the worship of GOD Almighty is superior and better than fakeness. We know this in Scripture because while we have never seen King Jesus Christ's face, we prefer King Jesus Christ over everything (including impostors). It is interesting how Christianity instructs us to care more about empathy and goodness than appearances and fakeness seen in idol worship. (We should also avoid rat snake socialists who worship a snake.)
