Persevering With Unchanging Fidelity to GOD Almighty in Psalm 34

Persevering With Unchanging Fidelity to GOD Almighty in Psalm 34

Positive Christianity Series Episode #325

GOD Almighty tells us in Scripture that He can deliver us from evil and helps us persevere through adversity and persecution. We can go to prayer everyday to remind ourselves that GOD Almighty listens to us. We can make sure to pray to GOD Almighty each day. Psalm 23 of David describes that we can trust in GOD Almighty to have everything that we need to persevere to Shabbath Millennium and New Jerusalem. David's life describes that prayer is very important in our lives. David never doubted GOD Almighty. King Jesus Christ told us to pray the LORD's Prayer everyday (Matthew 6: 9-13).

"The angel of the LORD encamps around those who fear him, and delivers them."- Psalm 34: 7

We learn that we are supposed to pray to GOD Almighty and not to angels. GOD Almighty decides how He helps us persevere. There are angels that obey GOD Almighty that guard the righteous faithful (Psalm 91). We are not supposed to worship nor pray to angels because GOD Almighty merits the worship and decides how He helps us persevere. We learn that in the story of Elisha, Elisha has faith to trust in GOD Almighty despite being persecuted by the army of the king of Syria. Elisha had helped Israel persevere, and the king of Syria was envious. Elisha is with his servant when they are surrounded by soldiers from Syria. Elisha does not fear and tells his servant not to fear. Elisha tells his servant that there are angels that guard the righteous and there is nothing to fear. Elisha trusted in GOD Almighty despite being surrounded by hostile idolators (2 Kings 6: 16-23). The king of Syria was angry that Elisha had insight of Syria's intentions to attack Israel and warned the king of Israel. Israel kept defeating Syria. Elisha never doubted GOD Almighty and trusted in GOD Almighty. Elisha's servant became fearful when he saw the army of Syria. Elisha prayed to GOD Almighty to allow his servant to open his eyes so that he could see that instead it was the Syrian's who were surrounded. Elisha trusts GOD Almighty. Elisha perseveres with his basic necessities, courage, zeal, and salvation.

"Oh, taste and see that the LORD is good! Blessed is the man who takes refuge in him."- Psalm 34: 8

Elisha similar to Elijah trusted in GOD Almighty despite persecution for obeying GOD Almighty. Elisha similar to Elijah was delivered from his adversaries despite being surrounded. Despite the hostile Syrians attempting to capture Elisha, it is actually Elisha that captures the hostile army of the king of Syria. Elisha blinds the whole army and leads them to Israel where they were captured. Later, GOD Almighty judged the wicked of Israel also while prospering the righteous. We learn that similar to when David was being persecuted by Saul's 3,000 soldiers, it was actually David who had the chance to destroy Saul on two ocassions.

Elisha was delivered from adversity because he trusted in GOD Almighty similar to Elijah and David. We can persevere trusting GOD Almighty and by worshiping GOD Almighty. GOD Almighty helps us persevere with courage and motivation. We learn that GOD Almighty did not forsake Elijah to Ahab and Jezebel. GOD Almighty did not forsake Elisha to the king of Syria and his hostile soldiers. We learn that GOD Almighty did not forsake David to Saul and 3,000 soldiers. We learn that we can persevere trusting in the Eternal and Infinite GOD of gods, GOD Almighty. Elisha had courage to know that GOD Almighty is greater than might. Elisha knew that GOD Almighty fought his battles. Elisha knew that GOD Almighty would conquer his adversaries, and all he had to do was trust in GOD Almighty. We can trust in GOD Almighty over the temporary things of this imperfect world.

"When the righteous cry for help, the LORD hears and delivers them out of all their troubles."- Psalm 34: 17

"He said, 'Do not be afraid, for those who are with us are more than those who are with them.'"- 2 King 6: 16

"So the LORD opened the eyes of the young man, and he saw, and behold, the mountain was full of horses and chariots of fire all around Elisha."- 2 King 6: 7

Learning Hebrew

Shamaim, שמימ, means Heavens in Hebrew. We learn that GOD Almighty created the Heaven of the heavens and also the earth. GOD Almighty created angels that obey GOD Almighty. Angels are mighty, wise, and powerful because they worship GOD Almighty above everything. Angels are pure and described as beings of light. Angels that obey GOD Almighty are impressive and accomplish the purpose of GOD Almighty. Angels worship GOD Almighty and guard the righteous faithful from the attacks of the snake. We learn that the snake is a corrupted angel that fell from the Highest Heavens along with his rebellious angels and was diminished. We learn that we do not practice idol worship because it helps no one. We also do not worship nor pray to angels and instead worship and pray to GOD Almighty. This is because GOD Almighty merits the worship and true, amazing, and good angels do not want to be worshiped.
