Denying Temptation (Fame)

 Denying Temptation (Fame)

Positive Christianity Series Episode #333

GOD Almighty instructs us in Scripture the need to accept correction and reproof. We learn that GOD Almighty helps us persevere through everything by worshiping GOD Almighty. We learn to accept discipline and persevere in the path of eternal salvation preaching King Jesus Christ. We learn that the commandments are a lamp, the teaching a light, and the reproof of discipline is the path of life. We learn that by loving GOD Almighty above everything, we can persevere with discipline and lighting that prevents us from walking in darkness that is idolatry.

"The fear of the LORD is a fountain of life, that one may turn away from the snares of death."- Proverbs 14: 27

In the practice of idolatry, individuals are led farther and farther from GOD Almighty and correction. While sin wants to appear to be inoffensive, it actually wants to destroy the individual. The story of James Dean describes that fame can be used to lead individuals to idol worship and far from correction. We learn that James Dean was a movie actor that became one of the top actors in the 1950s. James Dean started teaching acting classes, acted in a play in Broadway, and began making movies. James Dean only made three movies yet became one of the most recognized actors of those times. James Dean made it to the top of the acting business yet was probably envied by socialists.

"The righteous chooses his friends carefully, but the way of the wicked leads them astray."- Proverbs 12: 26

James Dean after acting in a play in Broadway became an actor making films and made films for about a year. James Dean only acted in films for one year and made three films in the 1950s. James Dean was considered a top actor being well received by cinema enthusiasts. James Dean probably began to practice lust and idolatry because of the fame. While being a top actor in the 1950s, James Dean had multiple relationships with women and there are theories that state that he also began to have homosexual relationships with men. This led to James Dean having fake "friends" who were socialists because of his rapid rise to stardom in acting. There may have been envy that he was a top actor having acted only for one year and also because he had multiple relationships. Lust and fornication leads to adultery and homosexuality. James Dean may have also been involved in heavy drinking since that occurs in idol worship. James Dean had socialist "friends" that may have been actors who probably envied James Dean for his rapid rise to fame.

James Dean would also buy a Porsche Spyder that was a race car. James Dean had a race car that he intended to use in car races. James Dean was going to California for a car race when he was involved in a car accident. James Dean was probably envied by socialists. James Dean did not survive the car crash. The fame led James Dean to practice idolatry, fornication and adultery (possibly also homosexuality), drink large amounts of alcohol, have socialist fake "friends", and buy a sports car (may have caused additional envy for actually intending to use it for competitive car racing). The story of James Dean describes that socialists envy others and that it is better to be far apart from socialists. There is the need to avoid socialists because they actually have envy and are not actually friends. James Dean was probably envied by fake "relationships" or fake "friends". Fake "relationships" and fake "friends" are not the source of happiness and may actually sabotage instead of help. We can learn that fame is not the source of happiness despite the lies of the snake. James Dean decided to pursue fame and fortune and was led to destruction. James Dean was said to be a great method actor and was well received which led to envy from socialists. The worship of GOD Almighty protects us from the road of destruction. We can choose to worship GOD Almighty above everything including temporary things such as stagflated money, false "relationships", fake "friendships", cars, and fame. We can also avoid the phony fakes who are socialists. (The socialists also hated and envied James Dean who is considered one of the top actors of all time.)

Learning Hebrew

Piqqudim, פכדימ, means precepts in Hebrew. GOD Almighty describes the things that are permitted and the things that are not permitted in Scripture. We learn that we are supposed to love GOD Almighty above everything and hate idol worship. This wisdom allows us to persevere with happiness and motivation. GOD Almighty tells us that we can not practice idol worship because it leads to ingratitude, unhappiness, bitterness, and destruction. GOD Almighty tells us that idol worship can be self-worship or fame. We are not supposed to worship ourselves because that is idolatry. Instead we are supposed to acknowledge that if we are improving in virtues and qualities, it is because GOD Almighty is helping us. We acknowledge that we improve in the worship of GOD Almighty. We need GOD Almighty to persist and improve. This wisdom prevents us from listening to the temporary lies of the snake that says that, "You can worship yourself and do not need GOD Almighty." This is a blatant lie from the snake knowing that it envies that individuals can keep improving each day by keeping fidelity to GOD Almighty. The snake hates that individuals can keep improving each day. While James Dean was not a Christian, he was improving in his acting skills and was envied by socialists. GOD Almighty tells us to keep fidelity so that we can persevere without practicing idolatry. Idolatry  is choosing to prioritize something that does not merit the worship over GOD Almighty. Idolatry can be prioritizing cars, sports, false doctrines, idolatrous music, vacationing, idolatrous tv series and movies, stagflated money, gold, silver, fake "relationships", fake "friendships", idol worship, and self-worship. We learn that if we decide to remove idol worship from our lives, we remove the source of envy, bitterness, and hate. The worship of GOD Almighty allows us to persevere with happiness and motivation. We are also guarded from the road of destruction. Psalm 1 tells us to avoid idolators, and Psalm 23 to keep fidelity to GOD Almighty. GOD Almighty helps us persevere to Shabbath Millennium and New Jerusalem without idol worship and bitterness.
