King Jesus Christ is Messiah
King Jesus Christ is Messiah
Positive Christianity Series Episode #359
King Jesus Christ was able to heal the blind man and also encourage him about keeping fidelity to GOD Almighty. We know that King Jesus Christ was able to open the eyes of the blind and this describes how he is the true Messiah. The humble Jewish individuals were able to recognize King Jesus Christ Messiah even in the times of King Jesus Christ's ministry (Psalm 94: 14-15, Psalm 95: 3). The wise and humble blind man had humility to recognize King Jesus Christ Messiah while the Pharisees who did have sight could not recognize King Jesus Christ LORD and Savior. This was because the Pharisees were arrogant and also worshiped the snake instead of loving GOD Almighty. While the Pharisees could see, they were blinded by arrogance and idol worship.
"Jesus said, 'For judgment I came into this world, that those who do not see may see, and those who see may become blind.' Some of the Pharisees near him heard these things, and said to him, 'Are we also blind.'"- John 9: 39-40
King Jesus Christ described how the blind yet humble Jewish individuals could not see yet could recognize King Jesus Christ Messiah. This was while the arrogant Pharisees who did see could not recognize the true Messiah. King Jesus Christ corrected and reproved the Pharisees for their hypocrisy and envy. The Pharisees heard what King Jesus Christ said and asked if they were also blind. The Pharisees acknowledged that they were sinners by asking if they were blind. The Pharisees were blind because they were idolators. We learn that they knew King Jesus Christ was the Messiah from the marvellous signs and wonders yet were preventing others from believing. The Pharisees were offended by the truth and asked King Jesus Christ if they were blind. King Jesus Christ acknowledged that they were hypocritical and described how they even attested to being sinners. The Pharisees were offended that the Messiah was rebuking and reproving sin and idol worship consistent with Malachi 3: 1-5. The prophet Malachi described how King Jesus Christ would reprove the Pharisees for their wickedness. We learn that only King Jesus Christ is the Messiah described in Isaiah 11: 3-4 who judges with equality, equity, and justice Psalm 94: 23). The humble and blind individual recognized the Messiah because he had faith. The blind individual was blind but not arrogant. The blind individuals had faith and received their sight while the Pharisees had sight but could not recognize the King of kings. That is why the Pharisees asked if they were blind.
"Jesus said to them, 'If you were blind, you would have no guilt; but now that you say, 'We see,' your guilt remains.'"- John 9: 41
"All the horns of the wicked I will cut off, but the horns of the righteous shall be lifted up."- Psalm 75: 10 [King Jesus Christ preached faithfulness and righteousness and rebuked wickedness and hypocrisy. King Jesus Christ destroys idolators while favoring the faithful.]
The Pharisees by asking if they were blind were acknowledging that they were appearing to be "righteous" while actually being hypocritical and sinners. King Jesus Christ reproved them because they knew they were not physically blind but were blinded by idol worship. King Jesus Christ reproved that the Pharisees were able to see yet did not want to repent of their sin. The practice of idol worship blinded the Pharisees who could not accept the true Messiah. King Jesus Christ said that the blind would be able to see because of their faith in the Messiah while the arrogant were blinded by deceit and idolatry. The Pharisees had sight but were blinded by idol worship. The only reason that the Pharisees opposed the Messiah and the preaching of the truth was because they worshiped the snake. The Pharisees were blinded by iniquity and deceit. The Pharisees took offense rather than repent of sin. The Pharisees did not have faith nor humility and were blinded because of sin and idol worship.
King Jesus Christ was able to reprove evil and hypocrisy. King Jesus Christ described how the humble and wise individual was a true Christian while the Pharisees were deceitful and hypocritical. King Jesus Christ was impartial similar to how GOD Almighty is described being impartial and not taking bribes in the writings of Moses. King Jesus Christ encouraged the humble and wise individual who used to be blind while reproving the falseness and hypocrisy of the Pharisees. King Jesus Christ is consistent with GOD Almighty who reproves sin and idol worship. GOD Almighty destroyed Korah's rebellion for going against the authority of GOD Almighty and Moses. King Jesus Christ judged iniquity and hypocrisy by destroying the wicked Pharisees including Caiphas. The Second Temple was destroyed and Phariseeism declined in the first century. Christianity increased in the first century to Israel and the nations.
"When he calls to me, I will answer him; I will be with him in trouble, I will rescue him and honor him."- Psalm 91: 15
"He will judge the world in righteousness, and the peoples in His faithfulness."- Psalm 96: 13
Learning Hebrew
Miramah, מרמה, means deception in Hebrew. We learn that the practice of idol worship is deception. We learn that the snake attempts to deceive individuals into practicing idol worship and grave sin. Idolatry has the intention to lead to the persecution of the righteous faithful. (This is why socialism is the religion of envy and has never worked out wherever it has been implemented. Essentially socialism is the religion of hostile and chaotic idolators.) We learn that idol worship is a snare and does not try to help anyone. Idol worship wants to lead far from the worship of GOD Almighty and the favor and blessings that exist in GOD Almighty. We can persevere in the worship of GOD Almighty while denying idol worship. We learn that idolatry and idolators have nothing good to offer so we avoid them.
