Avoiding False Prophets

 Avoiding False Prophets

Positive Christianity Series Episode #415

"If a prophet or a dreamer of dreams arises among you and gives you a sign or a wonder, and the sign or wonder that he tells you comes to pass, and if he says, 'Let us go after other gods', which you have not known, 'and let us serve them,' you shall not listen to the words of that prophet or that dreamer of dreams.'"- Deuteronomy 13: 1-3 [We do not listen to fake prophets and avoid them. We do not kill occultists and instead allow Yahshua to take the vengeance. We do avoid them since they have nothing good to offer.]

GOD Almighty instructs in Scripture the need to avoid false prophets that only want to deceive. In the Old Testament, Moses described that there is the need to guard ourselves from fake prophets who want to lead to the worship of idols. Since the times of Moses, there was the instruction to avoid and not believe the lies of the accuser. There are false prophets who preach a false gospel and may even do false signs. We can acknowledge that the false gospels preach envy, racism, classism, and sexism that is idol worship. They preach marxism and a false mashiach. They preach hate and bitterness and call it "goodness" and "love". They preach lies and deceit. We can acknowledge that the truth is able to dispel and destroy the lies of marxism and occultism.

That is why we need to keep Scripture in our heart and mind. GOD Almighty tells us that false prophets do exist and they worship the snake. Some can even make false signs yet what is the intention behind the signs. Scripture says that if the false prophet is able to make a false sign and says let us worship other idols (false gods), then it is a false sign and a false prophet. We are supposed to avoid the false prophets regardless of the false sign they make. This saves us time so that we do not have to describe the false signs and instead acknowledge that if the sign is to lead far from GOD Almighty, it is a false sign from a false prophet. This insight prevents us from believing the lies of the snake. We learn that we can avoid fake people who have nothing good to offer.

False prophets lie and deceive so it is better to avoid them. They may make false signs but the signs are not to worship GOD Almighty. That is how we know they are false signs. They look to cause division and foment conflict by lying and spreading disinformation. They envy goodness and peace. There is the need to avoid such people (2 Timothy 3: 1-5). The false prophets even betray amongst themselves seen in how Trotsky and Lenin were betrayed by Stalin. This allows us to know that the false religion of marxism and occultism do not help anyone.

There is also the need to be skeptical of dreams since the Book of Job states that the accuser can cause bad dreams. Job had bad dreams from the persecution of the accuser, so we can be skeptical of bad dreams that attempt to lead to idolatry (Job 7: 13-14). Job did not know that it was the accuser who was envying and harassing him because individuals were believing in GOD Almighty. GOD Almighty guarded him from the envy of the snake. The lying dreams and lying visions from the snake are false and worthless. Real dreams from GOD Almighty actually try to help or warn about evil people or lies. GOD Almighty told Jeremiah to tell Israel not to believe the false visions and lying dreams of false prophets that included the fake priests. Fake prophets also use lying dreams to deceive. We can avoid false preaching based on lying dreams. There are also distinctions between helpful dreams and lying dreams. Joseph had a helpful dream that was from GOD Almighty in the Old Testament while the false prophets have lying visions and dreams seen in Passhur, Shemaiah, and Hananiah who said the exile was not going to happen or that it was going to last for two years. They also lied about Jeremiah being a false prophet. The lying dreams can be to either diminish the faith or lead far from GOD Almighty. That is why we do not preach based on lying dreams and lying visions. We preach based on Scripture. We preach based on GOD's Word that is Yahshua. If something tried to discourage the faith, then it is not from GOD Almighty. This includes false prophets, lying visions, lying dreams, false doctrines, false "relationships", false "friendships", stagflated currency, or the illusion of "power" that tries to lead to worthless and profitless idol worship (Psalm 135). Avoid anything that is of the accuser.
